Ren'Py - Completed - Reboot Love 1 More Time [v0.9.98] [Reboot Love]

A 8/10 game recommendation to those who want a decent story to enjoy where the story choices don't matter.

Gameplay : Choices don't really matter in this game as far as I can tell, and it is very straight forward, You complete tasks to progress the story for more love with the female characters. Then, you will slowly build your empire of harems.

Story : This is the part where it loses one star for me, because I find the story a bid bland and boring. Choices don't matter in this game, so it just results in you skipping the day to complete tasks for story progression. It isn't bad per say, but the story doesn't really make me feel anything at all. A good story is supposed to make you want to play more, or the suspense in a good movie, none of that here for me.

Visuals : Very good visuals considering it is a Ren'Py game with 3D models. Leaning towards anime styled game and its good.

Scenes : Another star lost here for me because again, scenes are kind of bland and unnatural. If you tried out his new game Genex Love, you can compare the scenes from both games and understand the quality different. One has overall better texture and sound quality, where as another just average.

Overall, a great game to try that could easily last you days worth of content, but can be a bit boring. Worth a try and is one of the better games out there.

I really enjoyed this game.

Pros:
- All girls are cute with high cg details (better geometry and textures, than I've seen in similar games)
- Hot sex scenes almost every day of the game
- Minimal dialogs
- Simple gameplay
- Easy going cheerful story. Even with some fighting it still feels nice.
- Nice plot twist at the end.
- You will unlock gallery at the end, dont worry if you cant find it in menu.

Cons:
- Its not a sandbox, its a VN with branching story. You cant repeat sex scenes by interactig with girls in game(except reboot) and you're not free to do anything you want. Every event is tied to exact date in game.
- Second run kinda sucks. I know, its the main feature of the game. But its not so different from the first run so I had to skip most of the dialogs because they were repeating itself from previous run.

You should try it. Its easy to get into, without walls of text or complicated game mechanics. Definitely feels like dev loved making this game.

I'm more of an Android player for these types of games and the truth is, I was surprised with this one in particular.
Interesting story, good scenes and a coherent plot with an ending that goes a long way and does not disappoint.
I definitely highly recommend it.

I just cant get hooked on this story.

You have a MC that is supposed to be a big time hero killing monsters left and right and then when he talks to girls he turns into a brainless and very very submissive idiot, its like he has 2 personalities and i just dont enjoy the submissive part which is what MC is most of the time.
MCs cousin has him tied around her little finger and even though MC claims he dont want it and its worng he never does a thing to stop anything.

And for the brainless part MC knows who hes cousin is and that she recorded him and not once does he think to turn the tables and record her even though she spils her guts constantly revealing what shes doing.....
insted she blackmails MC who never tops being a submissive idiot or try to stop it.

And the hole reboot/restart thing only got annoying as fuck, after 3 playthroughs i had enough, if you dont unlock everything it restarts which removes any free choices forcing you to do everything with everyone, might as well call it kinetic instend.

Girls has a nice diversity in builds and they look good.

Animations are pretty decent

Music is ok.

I had fun and some scenes were moderately arousing (Theme and mood-wise, I have played a... Lot of porn uh)

I a nice simple story, too cringe at times but pleasantly enjoyable non the less! The moment I completed it made me crave to start chapter two and that's always a good sign with games and porn.

Simple gameplay, not too grindy, not too slow and not too fast... Definitely a pleasant ride!

I had never felt to engaged by a game of this sort ever before. Immediately I was hooked, both to the characters and the story. Very well developed, fun, and a game I will come back to at some point.
The fights weren't anything to write home about, but still, those weren't the focus of the game and the developers knew how to balance it (plus, it ended up being relevant to the story, so i'm glad they are there).
The only complain is that I wish it was even longer!

I was doubting whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, but I'm afraid that the gameplay is really poor, and the sandbox tag a bit misleading. While there are some good ideas here, and the porn was enjoyable, sadly the uninspired game mechanics prevent this from being a 4 or even 5 star game. Let's break down this further:

Gameplay (4/10): Not sure why this is tagged sandbox. While the game has stats, and you can choose every day what to work on, they don't seem to make much difference. They are just there to cockblock you and prevent you from getting certain scenes. Furthermore, the game is really specific, and if you don't get a scene on a certain day, you are screwed and need to start over. The only consolation is that a playthrough is not that long, and if you liberally use the rollback function, you should be able to finish the game in 2 or 3 playthroughs.

Porn (7/10): I really enjoyed some of the scenes, like the sex fights and Queen's night.

Graphics (7/10): I personally like the Koikatsu engine, and the renders were decent. The animations were a bit sluggish, at least on my computer.

Story (6/10): It was rather linear, more like a kinetic novel with stats to check whether you can advance. All the same, I quite liked the ending. It felt like a satisfying conclusion to the game.

To sum up, there are some good ideas in this game, but sadly the developers didn't make the most of them. I hope that in future games they can improve the gameplay. Since a playthrough is not too long, I would encourage readers to at least try this game.

**Edit** I decided to give a bonus star because it's a completed game, and well, I did enjoy it after all, despite its shortcomings.

I came across this game rather coincidentally......i didn't knew that this game is nsfw....... but when i played this game i liked it but....damn the website from which downloaded it from was scam and give me half game.....then i searched it on web and find it here....from where i downloaded it again....and also come across rbl2 and gx love all of them and want to play and see what happen further in rbl2 or Rbl3 (if it is coming)....

I am not gonna hold any punches. This game is a complete mess. Not the gameplay though cuz this is Ren'Py, but what I mean is the writing. The MC is hero go out to fight and kill monster, but act like fucking pussy. Imagine going out there, save people from monster that kill and rape innocents people. You saw corpses, You fight monster, Risking your life every day, Coming home with blood on your body and injured body, Got expelled from school, No school don't want to accept you, Stress is a part your daily life. Yeah, I doubt you going to act like teenage boy going through puberty. Stumble and fumble around girls.

Forget the dialogue option the end result is almost the same. I really resist the urge of low kick and dislocate their knees except the MILF and blue hair girl I guess. Femdom is forced upon you whether you like it or not, this is suppose to be reboot. At least let consent on being dominated. I have so many complaint about writing in this VN, but Imma just end it here. 4/10 experience. I am okay at the fact that this game is focus around femdom. What I don't like is that the writing is just too forceful, no freedom given to the reader at all and your "cousin" character.

The decisions are useless, not to say that putting the skill points does not make sense either if at the time of playing they do not do anything and that the game has zero freedom basically you are the dog of all the girls a disappointment but I tell them something the new game of the author if it is good in that if an improvement is noticed name genex love.

I rate it a bit harshly because the game could have been great, instead because of some rookie mistakes, it's mediocre.
Fake-cest is stupid, please make real family next time.
Lose a star for no lewd scenes with the Aunt and no sexy teachers to bang. Every school/dating sim needs a few hot MILFs.
Lack of player choice is the biggest negative here.
With so many tags and fetishes Dev should have at least made the most divisive ones optional.
I hate Femdom, but it removes the vast majority of the game content if you don't like it, and also prevents any but the bad endings.
A game called Reboot should offer something new on other plays, at least some different choices, but not here.
There should be some other route to getting the stupid whores other than being their pet/slave. Lack of options there pretty much ruined the enjoyment of the game for me.
MC is also a giant pussy. No idea how he can be a superhero and a spineless wimp at the same time, but he manages to pull it off.
Should also be a love/Dom route with the cousin, as putting up with her crap is unavoidable and irritating.
At least there is Lily, which is the only thing keeping the game from 1 star. She is pretty awesome.
Don't know if I want to try this Devs other games. If there is unavoidable Femdom and total lack of player choice, should probably skip them.
Really sad, as this game had the parts to be really good but wasted them on bad design choices.

The story is quite good and the Spanish version is almost perfect.
The sexual fights and those that are not, have their grace and the last one has some difficulty, but the rest are affordable.
The only flaw I see is after the restarts the story changes very little.
But since it is in Spanish, it deserves 5 stars.

Extremely ESL, every sentence is spelt wrong in at least one place and usually even more, grammar functions but it has cracks and incorrect tenses all over the place. The game has no guide, supposedly there's one on the discord for which the link is dead so good luck with that any future person who comes across this game.

I enjoyed this game very much, particularly the art style. While some have commented on it being "grindy", you can easily use Skip to get through everything you've seen before. I do wish it was longer, but I suppose that's what sequels are for!

The game is great , keep up the good work man , but i think this game need more content for other girl and i have some issue where some error at some scene , but anything else than that is already good

Wasn't expecting that much, but the game really surprised me in a good way, the mechanics and the history are so well made, even when you fail, you can still try again, it was gratefull playing this, and now i just can't wait to see how Reboot Love 2 will continue!

ok this is an interesting game, graphics aren't its strong suit, game play is actual game play, decisions do make a bit of difference and you can ( and will lose ) thats why its "reboot" each time you lose you gain points to be stronger to fight the enemies better. plenty of interesting things in here and better after your first death ( depending on how far you get) progression is kind of linear too, weird but it works. its a slower build but it does get there... not a fast fap kinda game . is it worth a download? if you have time and patience for a rerun YES..
