It's mostly the really tender/intimate scenes with Grace that make it really seem like mother/son doesn't fit. It might fit in a typical silly incest games that throw realism out the window, but given the tone of character interactions, mother/son incest just feels off while a years-long simmering attraction between close friends seems like it fits better with the MC/Grace (and also the MC/Chloe) relationships.

...that just kind of casually happen that make it feel like non-related fits better. I would think that if Grace was MC's mother, those first few intimate moments would be quite a bit more awkward and she'd be more resistant to the touches and flirting. Instead she's very welcoming of the intimacy. So I think "Grieving widow starting to feel attracted to a family friend that just came back into her life" fits her better and feels more authentic.

This is a small excerpt taken from the code from v0.2 before the change in v0.2a I've made the mentions in bold but there is more mentions of her being mom but that would be way more code to look though from that scene.

I'm not disputing that. I'm just saying that I think non-incest fits at least Grace and Chloe better in the tone of this story. And the incest tag could easily just mean MC fucking his daughter before he knows she's his daughter.

Also variable names aren't always everything. It could, for example, be a situation where the dev initially conceptualized the relationships as mother and sister but the concept changed as the character relationships fleshed out. Changing the variables now would only break everyone's saves for something that most players won't ever see in the first place. So I never really take variable names as gospel. Really only the dev knows for sure what his plan is. If the dev comes out and says yay or nay on Grace=Mother/Chloe=sister then I'll believe that. Either way though, I still think the non-incest dialogue fits this particular story better as it's written.

The fantasy in this case would be to continue to believe this wasn't meant to be an incest game, if the game code, in fact, used to indicate as such without a patch (which I have no proof of since I only recently started playing).

it was very good,
the story was quite good, witha good dose of mystery.
The MC was pretty good too (although i would love that he would be a little younger) and both main LIs Chole and Emily where extremely good i loved both.
Favorite Li so far is Chloe but its a tough battle Emily is equally great so basically they are almost tied for me. (im dreaming for a throuple ending lol) and i thank the god that the main LIs arent BI ... im tired with the unnecessary lesbian content on the rest of VN and personally hate it when my Main Lis are BI..
The visuals are one of the best i have seen (great job) and the soundtrack was okish
Moreover all the choices really matter and it really needs a WT to play all the paths (4 main paths 2 each for the main 2 lis)

and i think it gonna take few years to finish with all the paths, albeit if it continue like this it would be a Gem of VN.
Nonetheless i realy enjoyed it and i gonna keep in my favorite VN list and cant wait for the next update (i also wishlisted the game in the steam for now but if the next updates have the same quaility i will certainly buy it)


ps i found a bug in the dialogues
When i was on the love path with chloe (movie night) during the night which chloe slept with MC in the same bed (after the mom was hospitalized) Chloe speak with MC in the bed and the dialogues where the same with the stranger/politician plot.
(Chloe said if MC hiding something and MC was afraid that chloe found out about that he was the politician)
this should be wrong...
and also this part is wrong in the WT


the Dont choice doesnt give +1 lust in chloe (it doesnt give anything actually)
so either there is a bug in the game or the WT is wrong.

You should just play the game and find out. There's more to this VN than just the sex scenes. A lot more. You'd be hard pressed to find another VN with better posing and expressions.

Clearly. This game's not even in the top 300, or even the top 900 on this site, so yeah, I do have plenty of other "braindead" games to play until this one receives the contents I want, like Being A DIK, Pale Carnations, etc.
