You need to unlock the movie night with Chloe event (don't go down the Stranger path with her and eventually, you'll get the chance to call her to organize it). During the movie night, choose the more dominant options.

Exactly. I'm always perplexed by anyone that thinks Emily is his actual daughter. The timeline makes no sense. But to be fair, the age difference between him and Clhoe makes no goddamn sense at all either so who knows how this is gonna turn out.
The problem with this game is that it has an older MC, in his middle age 40+ range. Which is good and unique but he behaves and everyone treats him as a hen picked boy, not a grown man. He should be more forceful. The last scene with Chloe where he just stands and masturbates to her naked body was so pathetic to be honest, and no man with dignity would stoop so low. Maybe a horny teenage boy. A grown man doing that 3rd base shit? He should have grabbed her and fucked her here and there if she was doing all that teasing.
There is a lot of this in this game. The game has excellent renders and the story is very intriguing. But how the MC is treated and how he behaves is extremely mind jarring.
The only reason why I would think the dev would make the MC this way is to try to milk scenes, doing all this foreplay stuff before any real sex scene. Till now the game have literally zero sex scene, just this school fooling around shtick.
By doing this, the dev does not realize he is destroying his own game and his own MC.

By your definition of rape then every sexual action the MC has taken so far is rape. The MC groping the wife of his friend forcefully is rape. Clearly he did not ask politely can I please grab your breasts? The MC groping the main girl of the game under the rain is rape. Clearly he did not ask her consent.
The MC trying to coerce the wife of his friend for sexual favors could also be considered rape, even just the pressure he is exerting.
Everything can and could be considered rape under a proper look. But thats not how you make a erotic VN.

Um... no... For one thing, I don't do "my definition" of anything. There is THE definition of rape (look it up), which is when someone forces someone else to have sex with them without consent. Chloe very clearly expresses her boundaries in that scene. She explicitly says she's not ready for sex in that scene. Yet you literally said this:

There are other situations in the VN where you have the choice to push too hard, and the LI gets mad as a result. In every situation, the MC backs off when she reacts negatively. Because he's not a rapist. If he then forced himself on her after that point like you seem to suggest he should, then yeah it would absolutely be a rape scene. If rape is what you're into, then this VN probably isn't for you.

I think what they meant is that in porn or erotic VNs in general most of the actions of the MCs could be considered sexual assault in real life if viewed from certain angles. However in erotic VNs or smut in general those rules are not followed closely in order to entice eroticism and get the plot moving.
I actually agree with the premise of what they said that the MC is too old to be jerked around or teased like that. At the very least, there should have been an option to cut all sexual relations with Chloe (but still maintain friendly relations)at that very scene when she said she is not ready for sex. The MC should have had the option to make it clear he is too old to be teased like that. If she is not ready for something serious then she should not be very aggressively and deliberately teasing like that.
It is a humiliating scene imo.

To the first part... no, he was not talking about other VNs. Justheretorapeit was complaining about Reclaiming The Lost. He thinks that because MC is 40 years old, he should have forced himself on Chloe simply because she teased him a little and because concepts like "consent", "boundaries", and "no means no" are too complex for him. Respecting boundaries is a theme that comes up a lot in RTL. What happens in other VNs and how characters may or may not be written in those VNs are completely irrelevant to this conversation.
To the second part, Age has nothing to do with it and I strongly disagree that Chloe's night visit was humiliating. After all, MC was clearly into the teasing. It was a sensual scene with light playful femdom, after which MC takes control back by either grabbing her arm and cumming on her belly, or by demanding that she kneels for a facial. Then he tells her to go wash up. It was a pretty hot erotic scene that was well done, imo.
