My first 2 adult side-scrolling games were Syahata's Bad Day followed by Anthophobia; These two games are my gold standards.
I enjoy H-scenes (i.e. in-game animated sex) when downed. Side scrolling isn't a must, but Ideally the gameplay and story is on par with these two games. These two games both feature zombies, but I'm not crazy about that aspect, but both games did feature mutated monster type enemies, monster girls, lots of tentacles. and various monsters, and Syahara's Bad Day also features insects, and spiders.
