I'm specifically looking for music genre used for sex and or hot and sexy scenes. The mood would be described as sexy, mischievious, sticky, sneaky, etc. With no voice.
Ive looked into bunch of free webs but Ive yet to find the one that clicks for me.
or I probably dont know what genre to look into for those types.
Any kind souls with some recommendations?

One name. Kevin MacLeod. On a more serious note, he does make some great music but it's so popular people will easily be recognize it.

But I'm not sure how well it would fit with porn games since most of it is classical or folk music. Just remember to read the licensing notice before using them. But most of them only require giving credits to the author.

also has a bunch of free(and very affordable) music. I did a quick google and I think you are allowed to used them outside Unity. But you should probably look into it more than I did.

As for genre, maybe look into more Jazz type music like soul or funk? Maybe some disco or R&B type music could also work.

Whatever is labeled "easy listening", what mean that nothing will probably ever click for you.

The music should follow some rules:

Firstly, it's nothing more than an audible background, at no time it should win the attention of the player over the rest of the game. Therefore, the music must be basic ; pleasant to hear, but not interesting enough for one to want to hear it.

Secondly, the game will be played for hours, will you generally have minutes of music, what mean that the same music will be heard numerous times. Therefore, the music should not be annoying or possibly annoying ; the player should forgot that there's music, not be remembered that he can't stand "this music".

Thirdly, the music add to the tone of the game, it should reflect the atmosphere of the story, or potentially of a particular scene. Therefore it should not be chosen in regard of your taste, but in regard of what it can tell to the player.

Obviously, there's exception, like the soundtrack for the Fallout titles. But they are musics supposed to be played by a radio, therefore they have lyrics and can afford to sometimes divert the attention of the player. But even them where choose with care and most of the time you forget that there's music playing. A song will catch your attention because you like it, but it could perfectly have been played five times prior to this, without you noticing it.

Really tired to hear same and same music track in all new games(
so imo if you want your game be unique then buy some tracks from music website (there is packs and sales so you can actually buy some good stuff cheap)

My favourite royalty-free music sources, in order of preference:

- Massive catalog, unlimited use for $16/month.
- Includes sound effects alongside music, ~$25/month.

- Massive catalog, unlimited use for $16/month.
It will cost more than $16/month since for the use he want (sound a game) it need the enterprise license ; the two others are limited to online use:

"What type of plan do I need?
If you create both personal and commercial projects, go for the Unlimited license. It covers everything, including client work, paid ads, games and more. [...]

Where is my license valid?
The Unlimited license covers all existing and future platforms worldwide."

- Includes sound effects alongside music, ~$25/month.
Once again not suitable for his use. Not only it starts with, "are you a freelancer, production company or brand in need of music for video", but in top of that, even the most advanced license do not cover games ; just adding "clearance for TV and streaming services" to the list of possible usages.

- Similar to above, with more flexible pricing options.
Here it's worse, really worse:
"What are your restrictions?
Short Answer: Nudity and live performances.
Long Answer: We only have a couple restrictions. The first is the use of any content licensed from Soundstripe with nudity. Live performances of our music are also prohibited."

$16/month is the Unlimited license :)

I've heard from a dev who contacted Epidemic about this and they were told "commercial productions" covered their use case (games). YMMV obviously.

[Soundstripe] it's worse, really worse:
Ah, you're right. I've used Soundstripe for work purposes and never knew about the nudity clause. I'll remove it from the list.

:
[...] you can’t use the music in connection with defamatory, obscene or demeaning material, or in connection with sensitive subjects.
It's vague enough to mean "anything we don't like" :)

Well, if you're willing to spend a little money for your music, GameDev Network is offering a sale via . I only skimmed over the , but I didn't see anything that would keep you from using it in an adult game- just some rules banning contributors from adding obscene material to their website

Just to add my $.02: I am right at the point of making the big decision about music. This thread's been helpful (wouldn't have caught Soundstripe's nudity exception without it!). I listened to many tracks from Epidemic, Soundstripe and Artlist, just to see if there were shortcomings for any of the musical moods and genres I was considering. I felt that any of the 3 could effectively cover what i was looking for. All have good quality music IMO (better than most "royalty free" sources I've found) but the quality of both Soundstripe and Artlist were superior to Epidemic in my opinion. Soundstripe is now of course out of the running unless I want to convert all my sex scenes into clothed, dry-humping debacles!

So I think it's got to be Artlist. Which is great because its unlimited subscription is a lot cheaper than the Epidemic commercial one. From what I see it looks like Artlist now includes sound effects along with music in their subscriptions.** Once I confirm that I'm buying!

**Edit: I was incorrect: Artlist DOES still charge separately for music and SFX, or you can get a license that covers both but it's more $ than music only.

For anyone still looking into this... Drifty games had a big issue with Artist.io and his game was pulled from Steam until he removed music that he got from Artist but still had a claim filed on him because they changed their usage to not cover "Porn" (** Edit: this is straight from Artist.io License, Section 5, "The Assets cannot be used: (i) in the context of pornography ")

Also, if you get into and read through the fine print on Epidemic, it also has a "may not be used in association with nudity" clause. If you just ask them if the license covers game development they will say "of course" but if there is nudity in your game, then you violate and thereby invalidate your license.

be extra careful when using music and ensure that you have all the permissions that you need.

and i agree with the conclusion that it's been around for too long and he's sadly too known. the brain will go straight to trying to remember where else you've heard it instead of focusing on your scene.
