Whatever is labeled "easy listening", what mean that nothing will probably ever click for you.
The music should follow some rules:
Firstly, it's nothing more than an audible background, at no time it should win the attention of the player over the rest of the game. Therefore, the music must be basic ; pleasant to hear, but not interesting enough for one to want to hear it.
Secondly, the game will be played for hours, will you generally have minutes of music, what mean that the same music will be heard numerous times. Therefore, the music should not be annoying or possibly annoying ; the player should forgot that there's music, not be remembered that he can't stand "this music".
Thirdly, the music add to the tone of the game, it should reflect the atmosphere of the story, or potentially of a particular scene. Therefore it should not be chosen in regard of your taste, but in regard of what it can tell to the player.
Obviously, there's exception, like the soundtrack for the Fallout titles. But they are musics supposed to be played by a radio, therefore they have lyrics and can afford to sometimes divert the attention of the player. But even them where choose with care and most of the time you forget that there's music playing. A song will catch your attention because you like it, but it could perfectly have been played five times prior to this, without you noticing it.
