I have a very "imaginative " mindset when playing these games, sometimes I (as I've stated), "envision" potential plot scenarios, where there is no plotline "path" reviled by a Dev as of yet. I was just brainstorming possibilities.

I think you are definitely overthinking. You might want to play the Author's previous VN: you will realise that Walter Victor is 100% right.

You might think that this is another game, therefore the story and the characters might be made with a different mold. Well, sorry, no: this is NOT that kind of Author.

Overthinking, hmmm, I'd say more of "offering potential Devs reading about this game, a few potential plot scenarios for their own games", while waiting for this games Dev to make clear for Players, where this game is going, so far, nothing seems to be set-in-stone LI wise.

There is no "other female MC game" by this developer. All games by this developer have a male MC and are told from that person's perspective.

Haley's Story is about a female LI, but it is told by the male MC from his point of view. It's about them getting together, and possibly staying together, with a few other potential LIs and combinations thrown in.

As Walter says, there are only male MC games by ViitGames. They are, in order:

• Haley's Story (it's the one Walter describes in his comment above) — there's not a single choice the player makes for any woman in the story; all choices are the male MC only.
• The Taming of the Brat (which you obviously know, since you mentioned it yourself)
• Reconnections

All of ViitGames' titles are male MC only, with no choice made on behalf of a female character. I'm not sure what title you've mistakenly thought was by this creator, but the above 3 are the only VNs ViitGames has done.

Not really.

Just because the focus was on her did not make her an MC. Not only were all choices made by the male MC, but that MC was in each and every scene. If there was a scene, the MC was in it. Haley, however, was absent from many scenes.

You might as well have said that Sandra was a co-MC, or Adriana, or Victor. Neither would qualify in any meaningful manner.

Because she's all career-minded herself, I think she sees the MC with his "call center job" as failing to live up to his potential. So then, when he's home all day, she's thinking at least he could clean up the place instead of letting it become messy.

Clearly she's intolerant of how the MC's mind works, the fact that he works at a newer / start-up type company so obviously has to do his rotation through customer support, the MC apparently has ADD / ADHD, etc. She's just a very particular person, possibly somewhere lightly on the autism spectrum or something similar. Pretty sure all of this is meant to give the players a satisfying reason for getting Diana out of the picture.

Or, alternately, since it's possible it's just a severe personality conflict, it could open the door (if that ends up happening) for the MC to do certain things that will "win Diana back" or something. But it's decently hard to get a good read on all of this based on two whole releases.

I'm sorry, but that made absolutely no sense to the MC, nor does it make any sense to me. If she had just said, "I don't like it that you let the house get messy," or, "I don't like to come home to a messy house when you had plenty of time to clean it up," that would have made sense. What she said doesn't.

I believe that the developer has deliberately set up Diana to be an unlikable individual; we are meant to dislike her upon meeting.

Now the question remains: will there be a redemption arc for Diana. I believe it is she who would have to change drastically, not the MC, for that to happen.

For me, that will be a problem, especially as I do not find her particularly attractive - I can forgive a LOT if the girl is hot enough! But this one also has a personality that is to barf for.

Obviously, the MC has his own issues/demons to conquer. Will Christina be enough incentive for him to change? I hope so.

I just think he didn't care enough about her to bother.

The fact is, though, he should have cared enough about himself to clean things up, even if there was no girlfriend expected. I mean a bachelor is going to let things get messy, to a point, but should at least do some clean-up before someone like Christina has to come in to help him. He's not a drunk or a crack-head, he's just slovenly in his household habits, without those excuses.
