In the second scene of this update, the MC wakes up alone in bed. But the render we see is of him in his Vegas Craps Player outfit walking down the street. It is only four clicks later that we actually see him waking up in bed.

It is painfully obvious that there is zero play-testing of this game... EVER. At best, someone reads through the code and says, "Yep, that's good. Let's go with that."

Must also be one of those folks who don't actually learn how to write but instead rely entirely on Grammarly for their homework.

I took it as saves don't work at all. I've seen ones where that was the case (in which case, what's the point? Who's going to sit there and play one of these games several versions in all in one sitting?)

nope, it is that old saves (from the developer) do not work in your version. You have to go through the whole game to get back to the end of part 4 and start the new part 5....and there is a a lot of dialogue.

Not really trying to knock this game since I do enjoy it, but sometimes it's difficult to determine if forward is actually the direction we are going.

After playing the last few updates, Charles Durning singing "The Sidestep" in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas came to mind.

Now this Dev team, is dragging their feet, trying to make the story last a few more updates, because... Patreon, obviously.

Hey, I'm NOT dissing the game, I like it too. But it is painfully obvious that this is now a cheese factory. Ah well, I love cheese... bring it.

A developer is allowed to make his/her game at their own pace, whether that pleases us or not. If they make money in the process, that's fine with me, even though some of that money is mine. I believe in capitalism after all, although that's probably not too popular on a pirate site.
