This is a tough one, as I -can- see the appeal this game has for some.
Unfortunately, for most I suspect this game will fall flat for many a reason.

    BEWARE: SEMI-SPOILERISH MATERIAL AHEAD

Now, first off, the game gives off Fire Emblem-y vibes, and while I'm a-okay with that type of game, it's not to everyone's taste.

No, the real issues are as follows:

    1: Poor story.
The game gets major kudos from me for TRYING to tell an interesting story, but it ends up poorly paced, poorly written (It's barely legible Engrish) and characters just don't get the development they need for you as the player to truly...care about them. Not to mention the "plot twist" in act 2.

2: Item- and character management is pretty poor.
This of course can be a case of "NYI - it'll be added later guys!" but as it stands there's much frustration and little fun to be had.
It doesn't help that the fun of leveling high-growth-but-terrible-early units doesn't really feel fun since so many generic units have oneshot potential it's not even funny. Archers are particularly problematic here since if you fail to feed them a lot of xp early on they're going to plink for 0-3 damage per turn at best thus ending up in the death spiral of "permanently benched and thus never going to get good"
There's no penalty for letting any but your MC get killed over and over either. They'll just respawn next mission without issue. And you'll need it. As I mentioned above, units get oneshot with distressing regularity in this game, both in your favor and against.

3: Missions aren't actually that much fun overall.
A lot of the missions you'll find will feature an allied AI faction of some sort.
This is usually fine, except a fair few of those missions have hard-lose conditions tied to their survival. Except as abovementioned: Units get oneshot easily, and even if not directly oneshot it's distressingly easy for the overly aggressive AI to yolo in with an essential unit and end up 100-dead before your next turn, failing the mission.

4: The actual story bait and switch in chapter 2. HERE BE SPOILERS.
During act 1 you play as "Generic goodguy princedude" gathering a team of waifus and soldiers to fight back against "Generic Evil Empire commanders" and for all its simplicity it's serviceable as a plot device to bring the battle harem together. Except suddenly you're in act 2, EVERYTHING you achieved in act 1 is LOLNOPE'd away and you're forced to play as what I can only describe as "Generic NTR fatso archetype - except with even more cringe and no redeeming factors."

Now, I'll grant that some people won't mind/actually enjoy this twist, but for me it was such a slap in the face that not only was Act 1 seemingly a waste of time, I also got forcibly switched from "generic goodguy princedude" that was boring but serviceable to this absolute pillar of charisma and poise I just noped right out after my opinion of the new "Main character" only sank deeper after a few missions.

It's a shame though. With a lot of fine-tuning and massive mountains of polish I could see act 1 working out okay-ish as a start to a battle harem game baked into a Fire Emblem gameplay shell. But act 2 shows the Dev wants to take the game in a different direction, and in the end it's the Dev that makes the call, not one rando on the internet.

I wish the dev good luck and good progress making his game, but unfortunately this one's not meant for me.

    TL-DR
If you like Fire Emblem-esque gameplay and don't much care about story or who you plas as, I guess it's a 3 star rating. The game works for the most part, and despite my tone, a wee bit of gold and xp cheating and Act 1 becomes, if not fun, then at least bearable enough to slog through.

If you care about a good story, don't want to invest 10h+ for the lewds, don't care about Fire Emblem type gameplay, don't want to play as a generic "ugly NTR badguy" for what seems to be going to be the majority of the game and/or are easily frustrated by poorly written English: 1 Star - hard pass.

I could more or less forgive the poor models and cliched story if it's in the name of fun gameplay but this novel doesn't even reach that, it's plagued with gamebreaking bugs, seriously having it shut down every 5 minutes because an enemy randomly decided to attack an unit and said unit causes a crash, though that changes in the next turn so this time other unit causes the same error, it's a nightmare.

A game that can be enjoyed without porn content, an interesting story and exciting content. As mentioned earlier, porn content will begin only in the second part, but frankly speaking, it's interesting to play without it. It reminds me of a battle for wesnoth game, only less random and richer gameplay.
I am glad that the author is back, and I look forward to continuing.

P.S. I have never had any errors or crashes, although I play without animation, they slow down the game too much.

I think someone in the comments said it best ”I came for the porn, but I stayed for the gameplay”
Although the porn is really good too.
A warning though, the porn doesn't start until part two.
(However, you can jump right there)

Very unique type of game. Haven't seen one with this sort of game play.
But theres not much here. The art is not really good, doesn't get you going for the porn.

The gameplay is rather unappealing too. Maybe as it gets more content it will be more exciting but I doubt it.

A game to keep an eye on, for the fans of FE and Langrisser. Still in early phase but lets give it time in the cooking pot.
Art style is so so, but still enough to wet thy lust. Pixel art on the chess board is nice.
    I came, I saw , I conquered.
