You need to go into one of the houses by pressing W/Up then into another door and down into the lower level where there is a zone to interact with to go into missions. Also I'm not sure if the starting tutorial explains it but to finish off enemies you need to press E when the dot on top of them turns red.

Mb its a lil broken, but my char always run to the left

I had a thing called Virtual Joy driver that was giving me the same issue, shows up in device manager as Vjoy Device under "human interface devices". Disable that, and it fixed all my issues.

For anyone having a constant movement issue, this fixed it for me.
