...Please remember that the search button exists, this question has been asked way too many times at this point. It's a false positive, the game is safe. Were it not, you would see us discussing that a lot more.
Yeah but it also opens up a command window when you open the game, if you unpack the extract the files to your desktop, it skips whatever the malware is and you can run the game, but if you dont extract the game and open it as it is, it will automatically close the game while giving you a failed attempt.

...That has nothing to do with malware. The entire reason it does that is because of BepInEx, which is needed in order to actually translate the game and is the only reason the game is now in English instead of us still having to use Google Translate for every single frame. While I understand being cautious, you can't jump at every irregularity and say "GASPETH! THEY'RE TRYING TO STEAL MY PRECIOUS DATA!" I'mma be real with you dawg, no one is going through the hellscape it is to translate this game just to take the two cents you have in your wallet.

And once again, the icing on the cake: if it was ACTUALLY MALWARE, you'd have seen people actively talking about it a lot more often than just a few people asking "is it malware?"

D'aww, I was hoping you go all Rouxles Card on us. :(

They are probably thinking it isn't translated and this is all a rouse.
I mean you and me we know better of course but they don't.
Maybe we should also provide the none translated version of the game as well.
Malware free ;)

Wait for endless stream of "save?" questions.

I was angry too many times on this forum. I guess I burnt out. Fuck 'em.
Ok that is just a given.
A necessary evil.
Some people don't wanna play or find it too much effort to play.
It would be nice tho if they started searching first and ask when they don't find it.
But I'm sure there will be someone that themselves gets stinged over being criticized for asking.

I prefer not to rant on about such things. But if you want, I can give you my reasons as to why I think it has bad game design.

The controls are wonky. After I noticed that you have to use both hands for the keyboard, I tried my luck with a controller. And through a controller, the movement is not properly aligned to the pad. The game is hyper-sensitive to the movement pad, making it difficult to control the character. The buttons for jumping and the like were alright, but again, movement was an issue, so I went through with it and stuck to the keyboard controls, which worked better at least.

(...)
Oh please don't tell me this is yet another one of those pointlessly hard games with horrid controls... Not again...

people are quick to assume that if they can't do something, it's impossible.
For this boss, if you don't know you can grab equipped opponent during their wind-up, you're probably not even thinking "there's probably something to do about it, I just don't know what" and just assume it's one of his patterns and just deal with it normally, you're also unlikely to do the right thing by accident, if you've been in combat with any of the guys before, you probably know that your grab key only works when they're down or not seeing you and with the window for it being rather short (for an accident like tha tto happen to happen) and needing to be up close (at least I never managed to grab him out of that from afar) which is something you'll learn to avoid after getting your ass handed to you a couple times

While this makes sense, this bugs me. We all actively acknowledge it's a boss fight off-rip, so why is the first instinct to not treat it like a boss...?
With the game being based on stealth, you really don't have any baseline for how to approach an enduring boss fight, and human first instinct is to punch thing until no move anymore, unfortunately, that's also the boss' strategy, and he's much more proficient at that than you are, and then the issue becomes "game resists, what do ?" and the only logical answer is to call the game bullshit and complain on the internet
Completely understandable, but something that should be mentioned: the third hit can land reliably quite often, in fact. You have to just be aware of certain cues and keep track of how long animations may take.
Optimising and learning where and when you can get mileage of your only good damaging move is really the last thing you're gonna think about when you're frustrated and tilted from not getting anywhere, you probably tried to use it a couple times, never landed it, so you don't even think that it's your fault for using it at the wrong time, you just think "Okay I can't do that" and give up on it
But you're right, whiffing the first two hits and hitting him with the third when he's done guarding is really strong and really helps if you're having trouble with the boss, you can even punish him while he has the bag out and he does the attack that hits in front and in the back, hell you can even punish him for getting the bag out at all, if you do it early enough, he'll drop it and in my experience, he'll often try to pick it back up, which you can punish again the same way until he does something else

Also, I saw someone say they weren't sure the dash was invulnerable or not, and in my testing, it's not, but you have armor (at least against the chop, maybe moves with bigger knockback will knock you out of your dash)

It's also the last thing you'd want to waste your time on while playing... a hentai game. Yet, these kind of games keep being made to the enjoyment of no one.

That's just straight up untrue in several ways. Not only are there people that enjoy this, but just because it's an H-game doesn't stop it from asking you for a bit of time and effort. Sure, absolute optimization is a bit much to ask for, but the game doesn't require that, just a bit of critical thinking and strategy. You can't tell a game developer that they can't have hentai in it AND be on par with something like Mark of the Ninja, especially with the way that it's formatted. You get rewarded for doing well with new scenes to watch instead of having to lose for them or unlock them through grindable means, so it's fair to have SOME of that barred behind harder trials. Porn games are not immune to getting boring, and if every porn game were easy to clear with minimal effort, what would be the point of the games at that point? They'd really just be glorified visual novels. I have nothing against VNs, but if I'm going to download a game, then I expect something that requires me to actually play with a few brain cells, not just click button to win.

...I again apologize for going off, this is another one of those things that I'm really passionate about and have heard a lot.
