is there any reason why renpy does not allow to load a modified savegame even if you trust its source?

Its due to the save protection ren'py added a while back you can disable it by going into the savetoken file in the ren'py folder and editing this line and replacing if token_dir is None: by if True:

It would definitely be nice to know what this is, but you also have to know how to differentiate between skipping, which only the player and MC don't see, but it happens, and avoiding, which doesn't happen at all.

If it happens and all you can do is not watch it, I generally consider that option a waste of time. If it's something I don't like, I'm going to be upset whether I watch it or not.
I don't know what NTL is. But in my opinion any sex scene involving a LI with anyone other than the MC should be very easily avoidable, in the sense that it doesn't happen at all if the player so chooses.
Don't want to nitpick but the proportions of MC in banner image looks kinda strange. Smallish sized head and neck paired with huge shoulders and arms comes across as anatomically incorrect. Might want to balance that out abit so its less noticeable.
Don't worry, I haven't created any NTR scenes yet. And if I do create them, I’ll make sure that, as you mentioned, they won't appear if the player doesn't want them, and they won't affect the story either.
I can't tell whether people want NTR or not, but seeing how many questions there are about it, I think it’s something that needs to be approached carefully. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Additionally, NTL refers to the protagonist seducing a woman who already has a partner. Such scenes are currently in progress in the game with the characters Sophia and Emily.
I’ve made the NTL scenes unavoidable. If someone doesn’t want this, unfortunately, my game might not be the right fit for them.
The banner image does look a bit off, doesn't it? I think it's because it was one of the early backgrounds I created, so it feels quite awkward. I'll revise it in the next update. Thanks for your feedback!

I have a long list of games where devs were convinced to add ntr and it went so badly that they had to remake/rewrite their games to remove it completely. I have also list of games where the devs publicly admit they regret ever adding it in their games. I also have list of games where the devs HAD ntr in previous games and tried hard to distance themselves from those games to earn people trust.
adding it in means adding the tag which in turn means people who hate it will never see your game because they exclude it from their searches.
avoidable, optional, with a switch, in side stories, in mention, in commisions, in non canon "what if's". those who hate it wont care. they will just hit the big ole ignore button and that is it.
dont be fooled by those few who approach you in private promising subscriptions. they do that in every game. when your game is unseen, they will not be around anymore while you will be stuck with the ntr tag.
do a little research. in the end it is all up to you.

Doesn't matter if people want them or not. The question is do YOU want that in YOUR game? If you're going to be easily swayed whether it be adding or removing something, That alone is a Red Flag for many players including myself. If this game will have ntr because the majority want it, Say it as it is. If YOU want Ntr, do as you please but Make sure to let the players know what they are in for. I for one am not going to waste my time on this game seeing the possibility of future Ntr and you being inexperienced, this game will probably go through a lot a rewrites and reworks as you yourself don't know what to with it. Don't mean to sound like a prick but that's how it usually goes. GL

I don't know exactly what you mean by "they won't appear if the player doesn't want them", but I have to point out, as I said in the previous post, that if the scene happens the game doesn't interest me, and I don't care if there is an option to not see it.
I'm interested in the netori, although there are several important conditions: 1) that the LIs stop having sex with their partners 2) that the MC establishes a romantic relationship with them and therefore they become part of the MC's harem

I think they are trying to find out if the netorare scenes will be avoidable or skipable.
1. Avoidable which means that though player decisions it is possible to avoid the scenario happening at all meaning in the game world it doesn't happen at all.
2. Skipable which means in the story the netorare still happens however the player can choose not to view the netorare scenes and skip them.
The people who aren't fans of netorare which is having the mc's love interests stolen usally prefer it to be fully avoidable .
I used netorare here rather than ntr as lot of people like the netori side[mc stealing others partners] but not the netorare side[having mc's partners stolen] though both still belong in the ntr genre .
