Alright, here it is. I've put 3 new saves in there. Slot 21, 22 and 23.

Save 21 - After the hedge maze is completed. (If you use this one make sure to use the "Menu->Item->Special->White Amulet, to pass time. 'Cause you'll miss the tutorial explaining this mechanic).

Save 22 - Right before you enter the hedge maze (Where your game is bugging.)

Save 23 - Inside the hedge maze, right when you enter it.

I've no idea what is causing this problem for you. It might be your download got corrupted somehow (so try downloading the file again from another mirror, I downloaded mine from itch.io) or a driver issue with your graphics card. I hope this fixes it for you, or that at least you can skip it.

As far as I can tell, through the gallery, which you can access via the pause menu.

Excuse me Infinite Lust Studios; I apologize if you are only open to suggestions from your backers but in case you are open to those from folks from here; I was thinking since Kate (and by extension the player) doesn't know what is happening with her mother, what if Evelyn in her hijinks became a futa and was able to impregnate her daughter when we next meet her?

Or perhaps to put simply add incest impregnation between the girls, I just figured that Evelyn would be the more likely one to become a futa because of the aforementioned reason; but I'm glad if any of them gain a penis and breed the other one.

Either way, good luck with developing the game!

What a game, wow! And, although, at the beginning you encounter some porn logic, but it pales in comparison to what happens by the end of the night and the setting that sets the plot! Please, I'll make the whole game like this! Just another 100 - 200 - 300 nights like this.

I'm serious, no farmer simulator or anything like that, just make a cool story, you have such talent. All the dialogues are just amazing!

Even the fact that you literally took the setting of another famous game doesn't affect it. I don't care if you're that good!

You must have an axe/pick/hammer equipped!
Equip is greyed out.
Same for planting seeds. Just greyed out.

That happens with each update. Unfortunately, the dev isn't very assets-aware. so your only option is to start the game anew from scratch.

Therefore I stopped playing this game for now. Hopefully, ILS will at some point become aware of this and keep updates upward compatible as good as they can.

Indeed. I hope they realise at some point that the piecemeal updates aren't very good advertising for the game. It's ill-advised to try every new version. Best stick to the significant updates.

Use Maldives instead of Joiplay at that point

I always have always dash on in every RPGM game.
It's fast, but traversal in this game isn't.
The Forest screen has a huge divide in the middle for no reason, the second floor of the Manor is actually insane.
The tedium is either by design or a very unfortunate and consistent mistake.
For a counter-example here's a very packed but also very detailed and manageable screen in Overgrown: Genesis.

You can pack so much detail into even small RPGM screens that making an INSANELY HUGE EMPTY ROOM is inexcusable.
This isn't even the best example to counter that awful Mansion but I don't want to redownload the game atm.

100x this! their other game, claire's quest, does it well for the most part as well, even IF it seemed needlessly big at times as well
I heavily, heavily beg of you, InfiniteLust, please shrink the map sizes, a more compact map is the best for these kinds of games
