I mean, most battles are avoidable, since the encounters happen on the map and not on a "x steps to random battle". There's no XP either. Battles are just a way to... well, die and get those rape gameovers, or get an item you may want to craft something. But yeah, it's not a battle-focused game. It's there as a means to tell a story.
Can you honestly not tell us how to avoid battles? Where is the cancel button?

I'm not sure what's being discussed about battles? All I know is that there was a section near like a witch's hut with a lot of monsters that move really fast and force you to battle? This was an update or two ago, so it could be different now. But personally I don't like the idea of battles, or farming for food. The game is adding way too many mechanics and not much in the way of plot or sexy times because of the mechanics additions or so it feels. I still enjoy this game and I try to check in every few updates (because the updates are usually 1 scene, so sometimes I wait a bit).

So i got this black screen when the characters are going to escape from the island, is this the final part where the update ends? this black screen lasts forever and the name of the game appears in the middle of the screen, i just wanna know if i have to do smth more when the black screen appears or is this just the final. It is already more than 2 updates that i faced with this black screen btw, i got stuck in that part

Replying to this even though it's an old post because I haven't found any other posts referencing this issue.

I experienced the same problem on version 0.2.43.0. It might be because I usually only do Ren'py games and I'm inexperienced with RPGM? The workaround I eventually found was to use a gamepad controller for that single, solitary button press, and it jumped me back into the game. Everything else I've found works fine on mouse or keyboard.
