Your points on the non-fetish games not being a direct comparison to RiS are fair. I only stated those projects, because they are the biggies of f95, and they all started out small too. Just because it is not a one-to-one comparison doesn't mean it cannot be an "aim" for a femdom developer to reach. There are a lot of femdom fiends and casual enthusiasts on this forum that are looking for the next big game. But that next big game, especially for the casual enthusiast, cant be something so niche (like only/mostly feet).
Onto the other stuff, I do want to emphasize that I am not accusing nor even alluding that Aedryss is the type of dev to milk his supporters. I wouldnt even comment what I said, if I believed so, because I hate those type of devs and they wouldnt deserve my attention in the first place. I mean they just added onto their previous update, to make up for the lack of content of 6.0. So I see their effort, its not going in vain.
I was just answering the other person when he mentioned how cringe it is that those bullshit devs make more money than Aedryss. The formula was never meant to be a critique of Aedryss or what they should do with their game, just that those projects do those things I mentioned and this one does it another way. There is no wrong way to develop passion projects. My goal is that the "leaking police" can stop patrolling on the devs' behalfs on this pirating website, and ironically hurt the growth of the game by stifling the community and making everyone so tense in the game threads.
My actual critique of the update was the second to last paragraph, but thats neither here nor there. Aedryss, themself, has said numerous times that this'll be a heavy foot focus game, as that is what they enjoy making. Which is, at the end of the day, the most important part of the creative process. Im only here for the smelly, sweaty ride... even if it is only feet, hahaa :')

Bo made games and art prior to ToT that was primarly foot stuff (to feed into his own fiending). Its when he figured out the formula and realized that femdom encompasses a bunch of different things for a bunch of different people, that he made warriors guild and ToT to make a bunch of money. Eventually other games came too, but that was the mark of his growth as a game dev.
