Man.. this game is much darker than other captain sirkovsky games that i played, i don't want to continue this game until the ending. the beginning and middle of the story are too much for me, and i don't want to imagine what will happen at the ending.. well at least this game is worth a try (if you like the "dark story plot" thing)

Can someone spoil me from start to end of this game, after reading abt the stuff that Kirsten did makes me don’t want to play it anymore, still cant belive that she can do such things after playing War demon

There is a spin off coming out next with Noelle as the main character. The wizard friend of Iris.
It will be a classic scene collector game with no agency but will have a voice over. The pregnancy aspect that was missing in reminiscence will be found here.
If you played their games before War Demon Kirsten and Reminiscence then you will know what you can expect.
The last game in the series will be "Everlasting Saga" and will be a SRPG made with that one SRPG maker engine. This will be the grand finale with every character present from other games.
Not gonna lie I am not that hyped about it, SRPGs in their nature are pretty linear and are mission based. So you can't explore the world or walk around finding scenes on your own. In that engine you can only navigate through menus.
I can imagine that side content or optional sex scenes will be on the backburner as well.
The core theme of sex scenes will be "lovey dovey" and the more hardcore stuff will be after loosing missions. Loosing a mission or reaching a bad end will be a fail state so after you watched it the game resets you right before that point and won't continue from there.
So a sense of corruption will be pretty bad as well because all canon sex scenes will be pretty tame.
Pregnancy will also only happen during bad ends. I think he is using Noelles game to cram that fetish in so he can find an excuse not to have it as prominent in Everlasting Saga.
(A big complaint by his fans after playing reminiscence was that pregnancy content was not present. He is known for that since every game had that fetish in it).
With his last game he wants to tell a deep coherent storyline again and pregnancy content as a mechanic would work against that.
Before you ask I gathered all that from their Ci-en. I communicate sometimes over there with them.
Bottom line is that War Demon Kirsten was their best game imo and it is a damn shame that we won't get something similar again.

I really don't understand why Kirstin didn't do everything to save Pinel & Meiri and instead antagonized them for really stupid reason. also the mercenary was on the Empire's side and Kirstin was an Empire Captain, she's their BOSS. she could've just ordered them to stop and help, you know? she's got all the ability and authority to save them.
About the game itself, I really dislike the dungeon crawler stuff. combat is also meh, I just skipped everything. I hate how the gameplay loop is explore 1st floor > go back to town > explore 2nd floor > go back town > repeat. It's a waste of time. Also the Prison arc was LITERALLY HALF OF THE GAME DURATION. which is also 50% of the CG collection room. ridiculous. it's way too long and boring.
The story is excellent. a nice backstory for Pinel and to set up future plot. I look forward to the sequel. Kirstin deserves nothing less than death.

no the king was there boss because the country hired them why there was a war she was in charge but when she ran the boss of the mercs was pissed that he lost so he made her to suffer for it. also again the kingdomes fult for what they did to some one

I know it's been said already, but damn that second half was so dark . Hard to believe this is in the same universe as dropout witch with all the death and dismemberment depictions. I hope the next few games keep the light hearted feel, I like corruption but the constant dark stuff in the end dungeon isn't what I get off on and started to get old. My 2 favorite characters were always Noelle and the bimbo princess so I hope they are kept away from anything too dark in the final game

My 2 favorite characters were always Noelle and the bimbo princess so I hope they are kept away from anything too dark in the final gameso im a little confused, im fairly new to captains series of games ive only just finished this one and Failure Witch Iris and the Philosopher's Stone, I played Iris game first so does Pinel's story continue in that game because from the ending of this one she finds herself in that desert looking area as thats where you find her in Iris game and if that is all a single continuity is there anything that continues it or is this all there is to Pinels and Kirstins story? would love to get a continuing story of Pinel trying to get revenge
Well then...that was more depressing than I thought it would be. I was hoping from the opening and what she said near the end that Meiri would have just got dragged off somewhere, but it was something even more heartbreaking.
I found a bug, the mercenary boss seems invulnerable, I played up to the dungeon on area 2, I use sleep and just use the strongest attack to kill one at a time, and the mercenary boss even though the HP is gone, still doesn't die and keep rezzing the other mercenary members.
Anyone got this bug as well ?
or how do you pass from this ? I can't defeat kristin in a few battles before this.
