A Milestone Reached & Future Plans
Hello everyone,
I can finally proudly say that the program has reached the point I always imagined. With the v2.4.0 update I released yesterday, the tool can now translate
absolutely everything, including the UI, menus, and system text.
Since the very first version, this was my main goal. I worked on dozens of unreleased builds behind the scenes, constantly trying to solve the UI translation issue. I put a lot of effort into this step, and I believe I have finally cracked it. After testing it on several games where I previously couldn't translate the menus no matter what I did, I saw that it now handles them perfectly.
I believe RenLocalizer has now evolved into a truly professional translation tool. Of course, there might still be minor bugs, but I am very satisfied with the current state and stability of the program.
What's Next? (Unity & Unreal Engine)
Since I am happy with where RenLocalizer is right now, I am planning to move on to my next projects. Actually, I have already started working on it!
To briefly mention the next project: I am working on a tool to
automatically translate Unity and Unreal Engine games.
A Small Request for Help:
My only concern right now regarding the new project is how to handle
encrypted/packed game files
I hope to succeed in this project and release it as well. If anyone here has experience with Unity/Unreal file structures, decryption, or repacking and wants to share some knowledge or point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate your input!
Thank you for your support so far.
