Renpy 2022 problem with laggy animations

The animations don't flow correctly with the latest renpy updates in old hardwares. I'm tired of not enjoying animations properly when the devs decide to upgrade renpy. How to solve it?

Assuming it's caused by newer games running Python 3.9, then apparently

In the meantime, there's no easy fix. You can try the custom library in this post, or transcoding the videos to reduce their hardware usage as also described there.

Thanks for the answer. It seems that you have to hack every renpy version, even if they have the same python version. There are games even in python 2 where animations don't play properly neither. But that guy has made other builts too, hope someone works for me.
