I want to use a dual language so that old saved files can be used in the update file.

На 005 версии Яндекс не трогает [], а на 006 версии гуголь их ломает.

Guys, thanks for the error reports. There in 0.06 version for some reason neither curly nor square brackets are processed, that's why everything in them is translated, though it shouldn't.
I will check it in the next few days, all these errors with brackets will be fixed at once. No need to add new examples (about brackets), I got it.
As for the double quotes, this is a more difficult task. Translators often replace them with single ones, and vice versa. If you have any ideas on how to solve it elegantly, I will be glad to hear the thoughts.

Привет! При решении задачи по обработке логов, я спец-символы заменял на последовательность символов, не встречающуюся в тексте, а после обработки всё менял назад. Очень нравилась комбинация #!! для кавычек, #!# для перевода строки. Знаю, что топорно и не элегантно, но может подтолкнёт в нужную сторону )

Для игры думаю не особо критично, в тексте отображаются одинарные кавычки или двойные, в принципе это не принципиально важно. Во всяком случае все одинарные кавычки можно оптом переименовать в двойные, в любом редакторе.

$ - для одинарной кавычки.
$$ - для двойной?!
# - уже используется, как символ комментария... Путаница может возникнуть.

Замена двойной на одинарную в сложном коде черевата неотлавливаемым багом, когда легче написать с нуля, чем разобраться, почему не работает )
Я использовал как спец символ, типа \n или \t в скриптах. Задача была обработать лог телефонии, а в логе каждая запись могла биться на 2-3 строки. Поэтому приходилось извращаться, и подменять 1 символ на последовательность из 3-х, что бы хоть как-то обработать всё это безобразие.

I have browsed many forums, and many articles have discussed that when importing font files, they are more of a replacement, not coexistence, especially East Asian letters. In this case, multi-language support can't be achieved, even if you build code with multi-language support.
Of course, there are articles that implement multi-language support, but most of them are based on Linux systems.

Version 0.06 fix
Hi, thanks to your bug reports, I was able to release a fix for version 0.06 (zip-archive with the fixed version is in the first post). The text in curly brackets and square brackets will now be removed before being translated. In this way it will not be changed or processed by an online translator. After receiving the translation, the program will return it back. This works for both Yandex and Google.
Known bugs at the moment:
1) Format specifiers such as %s, %d and others are translated like plain text.
2) Also sometimes escape sequences like \n are broken during translation.
I plan to fix it as soon as I have free time. Thank you again for your reports.

Hi, I've got another fix. Please download new archive 0.06 version from the first post.
I found another bug, sometimes variables in square brackets were not replaced back. Imagine a situation in which the original string that appears in the translator looks like this:
But when the translator translated it, it removed one of the brackets, and as a result it was like this (let's assume that we translate from English to English):
Don't ask why the translators are deleting the brackets, I don't know the answer. But as a result, the program won't be able to replace variables back, so at the end of the translation it will give you a message to pay attention to this line:
I also noticed that sometimes when translating Google, as soon as you press the button, the program hanged up for about a minute, and did not translate. I added a message about this error. This happened because Google does not return a list of languages available for translation by API. The request was simply timed out, and the Cloud API did not respond. Now the message will be displayed.

Hello, Lucs2206. This error means that online translator did not return answer for some reason, nothing to do with it, just try later. The only thing you can do is to find out why this happened.
What translator did you use, Yandex or Google? What was the volume of translated text? Maybe you've exceeded the limits?
