The events of the pregnancy announcement, pregnant belly, and new full body CGs of the main party members during the time skip have been in the works for the last few updates. Some characters are already done and the rest should be finished before the end of the year.
Yes, if you haven't played for a year than you definitely missed some new girls.
There is a change log included in the game files. Maybe scroll batch to the latest update you remember playing and check what has been added since. It should be a lot.

There were many more steps involved, but I finally managed to aquire Lili.
I feel like there needs to be a little more guidance for certain things in this game. Like I noticed a lot of situations where something you need to do won't be in the quest log. Instead, it relies on you remembering something someone mentioned in a conversation. I spent hours running around the whole map, trying to find the angel/demon hybrid (Lili), not realizing that there were specific steps I needed to take to get her.
Not trying to give you shit here. This is still an amazing game, and I can tell you already put a fuck-ton of work into this. I just feel like some extra in-game guidance would be helpful.

It would be neat if the details learned from NPCs expanded the quest log entry details.
For example, the quest is "you need to find X". If you asked around and got the info, the log entry would be "you need to find X. rumours say it was seen in Y"

Why? Even if your save is very old, you can download the newest full game version and continue your progress in it by copying the entire content of the old www/save folder to the same location in the new game folder.

i'm so sorry it looks like i made some misunderstanding. When i said (i have very old save) meaning i haven't played it a long time. What i meant was i wanted to play the future events missions in the walkthrough, so i was asking which update is the one adds the book that make you go into the future events. So i can look at the updates list to see, what have added and changed from where i have left.

Maybe check the change-log text file in the game folder of the newest game version and scroll down until you remember the mentioned content.

There are a few animated scenes, but the vast majority of the game are normal CG images for the sex scenes.

Depends on how much you grind for the best possible equipment and side content. It's possible to spend over 100 hours into the game.

Nearly more than half, the arthor post the roadmap many time, by this point, about more than half of the timeskip have been update, though it might need more time to finish the main story. Tha arthor have set the roughly time for the main story to complete in next year, the other stuff shall be post-game stuff.

Items that permanently increase stats for the characters can't be bought anywhere. That would be way too overpowered otherwise, and make all equipment negligible.

Update 25.11.12 changes:
- New event with Chiyo in act 5 of the time skip phase. Requires that you had Chiyo's first CG scene. The events will bring you to a new area.
- After finishing the new area with Chiyo, and when she is pregnant, you can get a new event in act "Preg" of the time skip phase.
- Afterwards, new dialogs with Chiyo in the upgraded castle and on the time skip map in the act "Preg" become available.
- The final dialog for these new events with Chiyo is in act 6.
- A new event with Trey east of Aldlyn in act 5 tells the story of the paladins in Central in four phases.
- After the four events with Trey in act 5, you can get an event at the same location in act Preg where (male) Trey is shown in his new full body CG.
- New event in act 5 with Brad with an icon on the bridge west of Aldlyn.
- Follow-up event for Brad in act Preg when Brad is pregnant with an icon directly south of Aldlyn.
- After the two events in act Preg you can get a third event in the act Birth.
- When you go to the bedroom of Brad in the new sleeping chambers in act Birth or higher you can see him with his new full body in the male variation.
- Fixed an incorrect display of the height difference between Jaylin and Kayelinth at Kayelinth's farm during the events about dragonics. The CG of Kayelinth is now smaller to show that she is shorter than her mother.
- Fixed a bug that caused Sparky's CG scene to be unlocked in the CG room before you even unlock it in her events.
- Fixed an issue in the SFW version of the game with the progress of Hellhound's events in the cave of the academy.
Plans for November and December:
- New full body CGs and pregnancy events for Mirel, Elly, Ryoko and Kayelinth.
- Christmas special event with a new girl.
