True, that was clear enough. Still he is very far gone on the psychopath scale with only having two emotions working, lust and jealousy. Yeah part what Avaron said, but that could be in his backstory in his time with his father that we know nothing off. It is more that most people are rounded out a bit more emotionally, even most psychopaths, he is extremely focused on only one thing

Nobody was complaining, it was just an observation.

Nobody at all told the dev how anyone should act. Where the fuck you pulled that from I have no idea.

Even if the developer has a vision for the game, players can help them hammer out the details and point out inconsistencies or deficiencies without changing the overall vision. Critique is definitely healthy.

Anyway, the (anti)-protagonist is for sure one(two?)-dimensional. But it works in similar games in Corruption and I think it will work here too. I guess it's a matter of taste. I can suspend my disbelief; I don't need a backstory or motivation for why the MC acts the way like he does. But more complex personality isn't bad either as it makes it possible to write more intriguing scenarios. I think The Tyrant did that well, for example (not talking about the NTR shit), while still maintaining a "psycho" MC.

I'm lenient towards the developer because it's his first game, and trying to do too much too early may result in failure.

I dunno, why did any given serial criminal psychopath do what they did? Because they felt like it. That's generally the answer. They had the impulse, so they did it. Or they thought it would get them something, so since they don't have any real level of empathy or remorse, they did things to others for their own advancement.
I've been told by a psychiatrist that I have strong sociopathic tendencies, and can say with some certainty that my brain functions on pretty alien logic to 'normal' people sometimes.

It's entirely possible the MC is straight up a psychopath who has just reached that point of 'I want, so I will do what I can to have, no one else matters'.

Thanks for the info, I've modified it. Problem with proofreading is that it takes a lot of time for the person who wanna do it haha.

That's only true within certain contexts. If they're just given the plain text of the script, it's a matter of loading up MS Word or a processor that has a similarly robust dictionary, turning on spelling, grammar, and style, running spellcheck a few times... and of course either motivation, or private conversation with dev.

If you give them a file that won't go into a word processor, sure, it'll take a lot of time.
