I also prefer Libre over OpenOffice and others, mentioned it elsewhere in this thread. I was just wondering why a spreadsheet in general, but I understood after looking at the file. Speadsheet was probably the easiest way to convey the day/time of day outside of a pdf or notepad file.I chose a spreadsheet that isn't online so that each person can modify it as they need. People can mark down in the file when they have acquired each title upgrade or when they discover a recipe or seen a specific scene with a girl. I personally find it helpful to keep track of these things this way and I assume there are others out there that feel the same way.
And the .ods format for spreadsheets is the most universal one. I find that the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet formats don't work properly is some other spreadsheet programs. I personally use LibreOffice, which is a free program that works, imo, better than Microsoft Office.
Again, I appreciate it. Sometimes I just like to see a "map" of the story before jumping in, rather than a full-blown walkthrough or mod. I don't necessarily want someone to hold my hand so much as have a point of reference when I'm stuck.
