Passed the demo (I apologize in advance for bad English, I use a translator).

In general, the game looks very interesting. There are a couple of points.
1: Not quite clear interface. Health at 3, but did not immediately see the location in the interface. Auto-swap would be better to set up (automatic weapon change or manual when picking up).
2. Control is typical tractor - you can forgive, but as indicated - you need to give the player the opportunity to change it. Also, the grenade throw button and the interaction button are combined - this is not good.
3. In vertical surfaces, the character sometimes gets stuck in a spider style (fixed by turning the other way).
4. Save points. It is indicated that the nearest destroyed object will automatically save when losing, but I personally appeared near the tank at the beginning of the level.

The game is hard, but it's a platformer - no wonder some people struggle. But those who played enough Contra / Mario and other games of the beginning of the century (when almost all games are ultrahardcore) - the game will seem very easy.

It seems there are already 4 stages available compared to the demo mentioned in the thread, which only has stage 1! Could some kind soul please share that?

Abandoned really means "At least 9 months without activity/releases from the creator in a post that hasn't been tagged as Complete" in the forum, IIRC. So it is more likely than one may think. Given, the last update of the first post was more than a year ago, but...

If you want to make sure and the game really looks interesting to you, my advice would be to check the developer's pages, in this case the itch.io, Steam, patreon, twitter and, if you are really interested, the discord. All the links are in the first page.

Am I just stupid or something? Why does the full game lag so much worse than the demo? I've been having this issue with only some other unity games as well. Reasonably sure it's not a problem with the computer itself.

Any value this project may have as a game completely flies out the window when in the final stage it entirely flips the script on you and is actively designed to fuck you over without a checkpoint for what is likely the most atrociously designed bullshit I've seen yet. They fixed a lot of the other issues we had early on just to put that out at the end. Actually insane.

There ya go, not worth the effort of ranting about it myself.
It totally captures the NES feel of janky bullshit to steal your time and money if it was an arcade port or a rental.

Not as long as there are a ton of players that only even come to ero games for the CGs and don't actually want to ever play the games, which still baffles me to this day.

They just buy 'em skip the hunting and get the goal.
