I read Ferdafs post on his Patreon page and immediately had to rewatch the Vindicators episode... and, my god, now I know why I don't remember any of them, all of them are so entirely forgettable.

An entire episode dedicated to side characters that the main character (Rick) thinks are lame and so lame they aren't even worth pursuing when the main villain (Supernova, the purple one) escapes and gets away at the end of the episode. I mean, what kind of shit is that? Rick and Morty episodes that aren't funny are at least entertaining and this one isn't entertaining or dramatic or memorable at all. They all ended up dying so quickly I had to look up their names after the episode was over just to see who was who. Oh, and to top it all off, the Vindicators are never referenced again in any Rick and Morty episodes later on (even though Supernova is still alive and one of the few gotaway villians in the entire series).

Even the guy that Logic raps about at the end ("Vance sucks") is a name I had to look up. Ironic since Logic is as equally forgettable as a rapper as Vance is as a Vindicator. And as I was looking Vance up, all I could think about was Glen from Silvercops (Solar Opposites). A character with kind of the same schtick that has a whole character arc in multiple episodes in multiple seasons of Solar Opposites. It's crazy what the showwriters can come up with when they aren't constrained with flanderizing Rick and Morty.

Anyway, who the hell even are the other two girls, lmao. They don't even visually appear in the show, they only exist in a spin-off. Welp, it'll be interesting to see what happens Ferdafs releases his update, but I can't say I'm too excited about it.
I'm with ya but it's worse than you think because the way he words it. It sounds like it'll be multiple updated focused on them.

There was a spin-off thing with the Vindicators from what I saw on the wiki. Never watched it.

Damn, I hope not. Even one Vindicators update is too much. I generally love Ferdafs art and writing, especially when it involves the main characters, but for him to waste his talent on side-chick updates, that few of his want, is so counter-productive.

Anyhoo, to end on a more upbeat note, I thought I'd share this ...

Beth is that fed up with Morty sticking it in the "wrong" hole, that she has started to make him wear a red dot sight on his cock ...

An autoclicker is recommended, some of the later scenes have a skip function (CTRL or SPACE) not sure.

You reach the gallery by Travel->Scroll down to Basement(Mindblowers)

There is but one saveslot.

As it stands right now, you will get stuck as the game is a bit buggy after the latest revamp.

Seems like ferdafs back. He had disappeared for a bit and the ren'py remake had to decide if it wanted to end the story on its own but seeing as ferdaf is back and has updated to 3.9 after being gone for awhile means its possible updates might continue
heya, can i ask how long the dev was gone? and did he give any reasons or just disappeared?

Random thought: I think one of the biggest problems with adult games is that it's always a one-man sport. You never see teams outside of Japan get together to make something of good quality, which would remove the "single point of failure" issue in most cases. I see this over, and over again with this game, Something Unlimited, and LOK, and others. But I see garbage games get completed. I'm all for donating, but donating cash doesn't seem to help. What can we do?

To be fair there are teams in some places like with MITY. Rarer than japan but they're there.

a lot of those japanese games are a pay once for model rather than a patreon/subscriberstar/ko-fi, this has two effects:

- you're incentives to get your shit done quick and to build up a reputation of high quality content
- you're not as much at the mercy of companies like patreon etc just dropping your content if the eye of sauron visa falls on you, so larger groups are willing to commit to a larger project.

I know it's a bit ironic saying this on a pirate site, but if larger groups of devs are going to work on risque content it'll likely be if customers become more comfortable paying upfront for (at least this kind of) porn.

Having a debate regarding how Patreon, in its quest fo' dat money, has inadvertently lowered the barriers of entry to the porn game market to the point where it has reduced game quality to the lowest level isn't really the point of this website, might as well argue over widgets at an economics conference... but what can "we" do about it? Obviously, make your own shitty game and realize halfway through that you were actually that artistic kid who can draw but can't math (ie, code), not that autistic kid who can't art! Ok, that last part isn't entirely true, since for some of the shitty games devs can't art OR code, and half the reason the games don't die is due the devs being able to speak enough English to arbitrage exchange rates (translation: they live and work in countries that pay in simoleans, but Patreon pays them in US dollars, a relatively stable currency).

So short of getting Patreon put out of business, maybe occasionally pay for the high-quality games? And yes, the irony of pointing this out on a pirating site, not lost on me.

I'm the artistic guy who can't code :(
People say Ren'Py is easy so I'm trying to get into it

Saying that Ren'Py is easy is relative at best. It's not even a coding language (that's Python, the Py part), but then again, neither is Unity or Godot. They're just game engines, and what is possibly to easily accomplish with one isn't necessary true with others (for example, some devs started in Unity, but now have someone who uses Ren'Py and literally have to backport stuff back into the game in Unity once it's been crapped out. Something Unlimited, perfect example).

But yes, it's a hell of a lot easier to learn how use a game engine than it is to code one from scratch, even moreso for someone who doesn't really have time to even learn to code (let alone wants to). It just also means that it turns out a lot of stuff that is planned, partially implemented, or just poorly implemented is due not only to the limits of one's imagination, but also choice in game engine. Plus, you know, sometimes the game engine's CEO fucks its customers to satisfy their executive bonus requirements maximize profits for shareholders (UNITY!)...

In short, good luck, but you're probably better off just sticking to art and paying someone else to paste the art together with code. Whether you can afford to do that, that's another story...
