I can absolutely, without shadow of a doubt assure you that - IF - this product was seen by Adult Swim and their lawyers, they would have send a cease and desist and thrown the law at the producer. It doesn't matter if this product sent ONE viewer or one hundred million viewers to the show - there is no way that they'd want to be seen permitting a pornographic game with incest and certainly an unlicensed product that they're not earning royalty from.

To suggest anything otherwise would be wishful thinking. Believe me, if MGM/Paramount Universal Music sent a lawsuit after a woman who uploaded a video of her child to YouTube dancing while Prince was playing in the background, demanding millions in "compensation" I can assure you Adult Swim would 100% do the same.

Edit - the long and short of it is, copyright protections exist to not only protect the copyright holder - but also protect a brand from copycats etc. And often are, in the US especially - taken rather seriously when filed.

case, and it wasn't MGM/Paramount, it was Universal Music Group. Also they just sent a copyright take down notice on Youtube, not threatening to sue for millions.

Imagine thinking the creator got taken down with a lawsuit when there are millions upon millions of paywalled content doing the same exact thing with other IP. You think Patreon and other supporter sites are all sunshine and rainbows with their content and not homes to other pornographic fanart content with even worse themes than incest. Again ill go back to the fact that this game COULD push new viewers to the show IN TURN making the studio more money and ALSO this game is on f95zone (where we are now if you don't know) and every game here is free. Where do you think 99% of this games downloads come from? here. Creator doesn't get any money from downloads from here which again in turn means that the studio for rick and morty isn't losing any money. IF AND WHEN AND IFFFFFF they ever lose ALOT of money because of this game they'll sue but if its not causing them any issues they wont unless they WANT TO and they haven't cause again its fairy tale talk to say AS hasn't caught wind of this yet. Cause you do realize that the showrunners know about the fanart and the nsfw art they arent stupid. This game IS one of f95zones biggest games and is on multiple sites all over the internet. So ill end this by simply saying that AS definitely knows to some degree that this exists and until it hurts them they won't care. you do realize just because they are a big studio/rich showrunners doesn't mean if they sued they wouldn't be paying a shit ton of money in order to sue. It's interesting, though - it's kind of obvious that they probably won't send C&D at this point, since they would've done this long ago if they wanted.
And yet if there would be a porn game using Nintendo IP that's similarly popular, they would've most certainly do something about.
Makes me wonder how decisions like this are made in the industry when it comes down to porn games specifically - whether it comes do to individuals at companies, or if there are actually meetings about this sort of stuff.

that I don't know myself as why in my comments i stated both the studio but also the showrunners. Why Nintendo would do it against AS is because Nintendo is a game company and so if someone was to say make a full blown game based on Mario storylines or making Mario storylines, just basically taking this game idea, and making it mario its gonna piss Nintendo off because they are adamant that parodies get copyrighted at least. As i stated and this isn't against you but the reason AS hasn't sent a c & d is more than likely because they simply do not give a damn

as for me I'm not getting really worked up as much just trying to explain what could be the situation as i used to study law stuff back in high school college classes before losing interest but read a lot about copyright much of which is public domain all over the internet. As for the others I think they just want to stress themselves and lay awake every night crying that this game is copyright or the ones crying that the games been gone for awhile that the creator got caught by AS where again ill simply say they 50% know about the game (other 50% that they don't) and that if they do know they wont care till they lose boat loads of money

Yeah the DMCA speculation is ridiculous and would not be why a dev would suddenly stop saying anything. I doubt it has anything to do with a lawsuit, especially considering how Rick and Morty itself was started from a parody of Back to the Future with Marty sucking doc's balls. It would be super hypocritical of AS and they probably just don't give a shit in the slightest.

This is definitely something to do with IRL problems, but to what extent, no one knows for sure. We could all sit here and circle jerk ideas on how ferdafs scammed 20 bajillion dollars from patrons or how they died of ball fracture or what ever, it's not going to do any good for anyone. Best we can all hope for is a response of any kind, but it is seeming unlikely at this point that anything is going to happen.

In the meantime, we can all just support someone who is actually trying.
