Hopefully not but if he doesn’t post anything until end of this month then sadly I think he’s done with R&M but maybe he will reappear and pick back up where he left off.

Hang on, anyone can make a fanart game. It's definitely not easy or trivial, it is an interactive-audio-visual product after all and you need to know what you're doing. But it is possible.

The general rule is the longer a dev goes without an update the less likely it is to happen. That being said it's still not past the point where we can call it, if the story about surgery is true then it is unlikely that he will work on it for a while but at the same time the longer he goes without working on the game the less he will want to.

It looks like it's slowly pausing itself as people get sick of the silence.
He used to pop in once a month irrespective of progress to keep it going, now I'm worried I'll never get my Tricia fix again.
What Knight said is spot on, it's a lot of moolah to give up - but if you're literally sick and tired...

Just looked at that. It has more comments than likes, whereas all his previous posts have more likes than comments, so yea, his patrons might not be happy bunnies. It will be sad if it ends like this. I still hold some hope, but it's fading by the day.His latest post has 162 comments his patrons are rebelling
P.S. I was also looking at one of his old blogs and noticed that the 2021 Christmas images he posted featured Beth and Space Beth, wrapping presents and getting frisky. Which made me think, that the latest update is obviously something that has been on his mind for a while and is not fully realised yet. I'd love to see more of that, but at this point, I'd be grateful for anything, even just an update on his condition/plans etc.

Yeah but he would have to build it up through a couple patches up to the point where them and morty get into which would probably take a year

I really do feel for the dev, it seems prior he kept to the schedule and kept people updated he's done a good job. Now he has health issues like damn and made it much harder.
