The remake is a de-sandboxed version.
..and yes, it would make sense for the original to get updated first, no?

The remake there is not the one made my Ferdafs, it is a remake made my Night Mirror, the guy a couple comments above you.
So the order of updates is this one here and THEN the renpy one.

For Win there's no savefile, the sole saveslot resides in registry.

Mindblowers are not locked, but lags a few releases.

For the latest content 'Start from last patch'

I think the game is too bugged(buggered) broken for a complete playthrough.

Unless F has spent the past 3 months bugfixing

ESC sometimes works, but where and when it does is at random. Be warned, it's a really fast skip and there's no back button in this version.
