something like "good news kids, one of our favorite games and thus the remake also, is still alive and going strong!". it would be a very good surprise but you know, gotta manage those expectations and be realistic. for now it's "i don't know but it doesn't look good", that seem fair right?

kinda giving me sheol flashback, the dev was alright at first but then radio silence, no news or anything other than his patreon getting suspended and him actually selling his demos and unfinished games. i personally hope that it's not the same here

If we're going policy it's 3 months sharp, based on another game with a similar update schedule. That game literally had a dev status announcement days after the tag went on.

If this is really dead I'll be very sad, I quite like the game and its remake. And rather more importantly, I don't quite like the other game in the same universe.

That said, if he HAS confirmed not wanting to continue, not mentioning this on Patreon to keep getting more money is a phenomenal dick move.

after doing a bit of research, really don't look good. i can be wrong but if i understand the "human language" good enough, he's done, he's just done. like, this won't seem like much but on his gumroad where he sells art packs, his latest one is for rick and morty wich is only concerning when all the others he sold had something special, like it was the "november" pack but this one is just the art pack from their game, not even a shred of hint that there'll be a next one after that (and it claims to contain secret scenes as well)


by itself i'd 100% ignore it but with everything that's going on and what else i found, i'd not only surprised but shocked if he came back. not gonna give much info because a lot of it is mostly instinct based judgement of information that doesn't actually prove anything.

edit: complete accident but turns out that he might have been watching porn on a website i was on just now, his exact account name with uploads that are "rare" enough to consider it as real, old account and even two pics i didn't see anywhere else wich is rarer than rare. so he's alive, he just doesn't want to answer anything to anyone while there are still financial ties to it apparently, or he's still working and was just having a wank but at this point y'all know where i lean on whether he's given up or not

Well, in any case, abandoned or not. I discovered this like 2 or 3 months ago.

In my opinion this is better written than the series itself in some aspects. I thank the author for this, the game has a lot of replay value and I had a lot of fun with it. If one day he updates it again, great. Otherwise, the laughs have been pretty good. With games like this I have discovered that the ones that are not full fap mode are more fun than the other games.

I think most people (not all, it is the internet after all) would be fine if the dev said they were burned out or done with the project. Yeah, it would suck, but that's the world of indie games (more games are abandoned than completed). Far worse (imo) is to say nothing and treat the people that support the work with such a low level of respect.
