I understand the first change (Ye...Yeah --> Y-yeah) because an elipsis indicate a pause longer than a comma (which isn't what is happening with a stutter) but I'm curious, what's the problem with repeating letters?
"Ohhhhhh." is a very different character reaction than "Oh." or even "Ohh." and I don't know how some of the more unique onomonopias would be conveyed without repeats. I've noticed you use ~ a lot with vocalizations in your game, I'm wondering if that's somehow your shortcut for "repeat this letter a whole bunch in your mind"?

In this case, there were just a lot of them that didn't feel like fit most places (I did probably clip too many, but also, I did this in an afternoon with only two editing passes). It is something for me to consider it if I make patches for future versions.
Most of the "~" are from the original and I just kept using them (trying to match the same style). I use it to convey a less abrupt drop off than a "-". So, yeah, I guess short hand for additional repeating letters?

Very much enjoyed the new update! Always want more Rick and Morty content (as there is never enough) and I like that this is different from the other offerings out there. I like the art style, as it feels very from the show, and character fit into the scenes (rather than just reused models), and the animations are pretty good!
Glad that the task list moved out of the phone, although it is still a bit of a hassle to have to open/hide (maybe a toggleable always visible list on the side of the screen?). I did find the next task clear enough that I didn't need it, but kept checking to make sure I wasn't missing content.
I do have two issues with the game, the first I've already harped on and that is a personal dislike of wandering for the sake of wandering. Going room to room doesn't provide enough extra incentive/choices/discovery over just watching a linear story. Some people enjoy that game mechanic but it's not one I like. I can tolerate it here, but I still find myself digging into the game code to check for things I might have missed as opposed to playing the game.
The second issue is that chapter 1 and the pilot are different games, instead of one file. I'm fine with a patch file to update, but I think making them separate games is going to quickly become a mess when trying to load saves.

What does this offer that Rick and Morty: A Way Back Home/Another Way Home doesn't? I gotta admit when there is a truly excellent project already in this vein that has hours of well written content I am not sure I see the appeal of taking the plunge on a game that doesn't even have a mega link.
(For those wondering, Another Way Home is the Ren'Py VN version of A Way Back Home, and is frankly better than the original in a multitude of ways.)

The simple answer is, more. Not necessarily more content than the existing games (both of which have had years of work), but more Rick and Morty sexy content in general. If R&M porn is your thing, there isn't that much of it out there (and very few new things being made all that often (that I can find at least)). Every new (good) contributor to it is a plus in my book.
As I've said, this game isn't perfect, and has a ways to go (this is only it's second content drop), but for me at least it is something new and different enough from the other offerings to be enjoyable. The story is fun, the art is fappable (and show accurate (a big one for me)), the characters act like themselves (with a porn twist), and I want more of it (always a good sign for a game).
In the end, like all porn games, it's up to you if you think it is worth the time investment. I think it is worth a try at the very least. The worst case is that you waste some time, or maybe you find something new to enjoy.
Well spoken and well argued! I gotta be honest though, I would NEED a mega or a workupload link to take a look at it (I am VERY cautious with which download sources I use). If one of those should appear, then I suppose "more" never hurts, at least to check out.
