It’s dead. I was in their Discord, and the creator mentioned wanting to “kill” Rina and start working on something else. They haven’t updated the game in over two years. Any art you see is from before that. They wanted to shift the game’s direction from an “H-scene-connected trash game” to something better, but then never followed through. It feels like they got overly ambitious but were too lazy to see it through. Now, they’ve decided to abandon the promise of finishing the game entirely. (This is from a chat on 28-Aug-25.)
Oh wow I am so surprised, the game that everyone called would die when dev announced the changes, is in fact dead.

That's what always happens. Everything goes well at first but then the devs suddenly get some sort of epiphany and decide to rework the entire project, only to realize it's easier said than done. Even a scuffed game that's completed is far better than over ambitious empty promises. I don't think no one was complaining about the gameplay or anything.

exactly. I'm Shocked. Shocked! well not shocked at all actually. Its a super easy to call a game as dead when it happens.

RIP
hope someone else take over ...
I doubt it. And even if someone takes over it won't be as good since the main selling point is the art. Anyone can make an RPG game using RPGmaker, it literally doesn't take coding skills to do so. The main factors are art and the script.
exactly and everyone got different vision for their games, its the same like when garden changes the owner and he starts changing everything to his own liking, there are very little artists who would just let their art be used as others see fit

I hope the dev goes into comics, or makes a non combat game (like claires quest) for their next project. Game production especially with rpg maker kills off so much of people's passion for their projects because of the restrictions.
Damn shame.
