If you download the .mkv and the .srt, placed them together, because they both named as the same, your video player should by default plays the subtitle, even if the mkv doesn't have the subtitle. I think you just forget to activate the subtitle for this video particularly.It's separate, though. I download both file but the sub still not appear. Not like previous file I download in this site
I checked again, the subtitle is in the mkv (TEXT field):

Again, verify your video player. It works on my side, maybe I made a mistake on the .mkv, but the .srt should works.
