Indeed, it just waifu collector... Quit the game more than two years ago, but i still miss my waifu till this day... The only good thing about Azur Lane is their character design, and super friendly to F2P... The gameplay is not that great, and i doubt people play the game for the story (never even read the story once XD)
I guess indeed good for player who just want waifu collector and nothing else...

and its an i7 14700K at a base 3.4 ghz. I cant remember that well but off the top of my head a 10 minute rinhee video takes maybe 2 or 3 hours.
When I buy a PC I never skimp out on the CPU. People tend to focus the money on the GPU, which is fair, but I remember being bottlenecked on CPU on some games in the past.

Seriously... I thought the screenshot that guy share is from Rinhee, and i planning to praise Rinhee for how surprising good the art is and really close to the game... Only to found out, it actually from the game itself LMAO (i didn't watch the Rinhee work yet)

that is overkill holy shit, have you tried profiles 4, 5, 6? personally I can't see any difference in quality and sizes barely differ, but take significantly less time to encode, do you add fast-decode=2 tho? assuming you're using svt-av1

The exact settings inside each presets of svt-av1 have been changing a lot between each releases.
The current latest version is 3.0.2 and to me the preset 6 is already looking not good.
(handbrake has 2.3.0 in current latest version)
But I agree preset 1 is an overkill, I'm more happy with preset 3's balance between quality and speed (as in version 3.0.2)
Although I say preset 6 looking not good, the artifacts are not very noticeable unless you pause the video.
And FWIW, handbrake uses "tune=0" by default. It says "None" but actually, in svt-av1, tune 0 means VQ (visual quality), tune 1 means PSNR (tuned for higher objective score but not visually good), SSIM is another objective metric.
Really tune VQ is the only one you should use, in real world use cases. But the default one in svt-av1 is PSNR.
So, if you are planning to use FFmpeg, you should add "-svtav1-params tune=0" in the options.

the game is good and the story is great, and the farming is pretty chill if you don't touch Operation Siren. It's a good waifu collector overall
