Just finished the update. I think it was criminal to have so much Darci content and yet not give her a scene. It looks like all the girls are going out to a party next update, so she better get one then!

Totally agree with you, like I was 100% certain we’d finish this update off with a Darci scene back at the hotel. And also agree with the other person who said this update almost felt like a part 1 of 2 with where it seemed to end, leaving you feeling less narratively satisfied(?) then I feel most updates have been. Still great and loved it though.

Hey guys, I updated my hidden render guide to include Episode 7. Special thanks to AeroHotshot for their post as it was very helpful. I went ahead a marked them to make them easier to spot; along with the dialogue line they show up on. I hope you guys enjoyed this episode as much as I did. Does the story work better with or without the MC being related to some of the girls? In most cases, it's clear the story was written with incest in mind, so the writing takes a hit when a patch isn't used.

I've put off playing this episode since the patch is no longer supported, and I was hoping the multi mod would fix that, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So I was hoping I could get some opinions on how it impacts the story and writing to just drop the relations from it.

I mean okay...it isn't exactly reliable in real life, but if the game gives you the option it would be weird if Scarlett would still get pregnant by it. Never mind the fact that with Patreon these days you couldn't really do it outside of a semi-official patch.

I honestly would say so far it works better without an incest patch. Incest really doesn't make much sense in the game.

This update story wise was pretty good but i feel like the "cliffhanger" (if you could even call it that) was kinda whatever? like it feels like this episode is a multi parter because of how abrupt the ending was. Also i appreciate how much Darci was in this episode story wise but it's disappointing that we got no scenes with her.(this is kind of a nitpick i know) Sad that we gotta wait like a billion years til next time for Darci to get her time but (this is MASSIVE copium) maybe because of this potentially being a part 1 to an episode it may take less time to come out.

2) Has not been used in the game yet.
3) Unlocks a phone wallpaper. You get this one automatically on episode 2.
4) Shelby's submissiveness. She can also get dom points, hinting at possible interesting changes in her eventual scenes.

Like Being a DIK can get away with that because each episode has a TON of content and variables with it. I feel like I didn't get all that much out of this one.

Of course the content isn't moving along, I've confronted Jestur on Discord about this very thing. This is one of the reasons why he wants you to start from the beginning, very little has been done and quite honestly, as long as the Patreon money keeps rolling in, where is the motivation? I stopped my Patreon membership 2 episodes ago. It won't be until members give him an ultimatum on progress will anything actually happen.

Would you rather have me rush the story? The whole story for Ripples was wrote before I started episode one. I know exactly where it's going, and I don't want to rush and do a bad job. Yeah, some episodes I wrote turned out to be too big and had to broken up into two episodes. This episode being one of them. And I do have motivation to complete the story, if I'm being honest. Honey Select is very limited in the tech side and production side. I would love to move on from it. So I will be happy the day the game is completed and I can use something else.

And it's not a once a year release. I took a month off after the last release and I moved to another house and a bunch of things happened and I had trouble getting my computer room all together so I basically started development close to January. So it took me only like 7 months and we did like 2-3 of testing and proofreading.

I'm sorry it's not up to your standard, but I'm no expert at this. This is my first VN. I worked hard on this release. It's tought to make everyone happy. I'm just following my script I wrote a long long time ago. I thought it was a great update myself. It's essentially only part 1 but part 2 will come soon enough.
