That was a comparison of other HS1 games and that one is made with HS2 (if is the one that ends in "num" haha) and I bet if Ripples was made with HS2 it would be on same level, HS1 has more limited assets for what I understood and doesn't look so good animated than made with HS2 and neither the renders/environments but in all the rest is on the same level.

The other HS1 game I was trying not to say the name is the one currently and for long the #1 weighted rating Renpy game on this site and the initials are PC, that one is also made with HS1 like Ripples but IMHO Ripples is better overall and I prefer sci-fi stories but it is a just a question of taste, both are on my Tier S games list anyway. Ripples is #11 in that same "Rank" if we count only Renpy games still in development, #15 if we count the 4 already completed.

Yeah, that makes sense about the differences between HS1 and 2, I’m not really informed enough to argue with you on that anyway. x)
I get which game you’re talking about now, I didn’t know it was made on HS1. I like that game too, it’s not really similar to Ripples, but it’s still really well done. The story might not have the same focus as Ripples, though, and technically they’re probably quite similar.
Maybe I’ve seen more and better (note sure) animations in PC, but that could also be because there’s more content overall.

And because the plot in that game is more sexually focused hehehe. All the games in my sig (lack some of my Tier S list games because there is a limit of characters you can put in it, that is why PC isn't there) I tried for the porn and stayed and follow for the story/plot and quality overall.

It's probably for this reason that all the game titles in your signature are stacked together ! haha Some of the games you mention in your signature are also among my favorites on the site, albeit to varying degrees. I'd say some excel more than others, but that's debatable and can vary.

Yep hehe have always to find creative ways to put more words in it :LOL:. Even "seven" on one of those games had to put "7" and cut "city of" of another hehe. I sent the invite to a conversation between another member that wanted to know my list, and was probably better invite you in too because this is going already way off topic. Won't be surprised to see my last posts deleted at some point.

at the end i don't understand the author sincerly, why the MC it wasn't adopted from Tiffany instead to be the biologic son of her. The things between the MC and the two women, it would be more easy.

It’s probably because he started the game with the multi-mod, which includes an incest patch.

As for the rest, I’d say it’s mostly a matter of personal preference. For me, the story definitely makes more sense with the incest patch, especially with the time travel stuff and the questions around the supposed family connections and relationships between some of the characters. It also feels more believable when you look at the MC and his situation with Tiffany and Jessica at the start.

Edit : Also, the conversation course between Jessica and the MC in his bedroom while watching anime depicting some romantic and incestuous relationships between their characters makes much more sense in this context when she asks him in an 'interested' manner what he thinks about it and if he would accept such a relationship (implicitly with her being his sister in this situation).

Sure, it’ll never be officially approved or confirmed in the game by the dev because of Patreon’s ToS, but imo, it’s pretty clear the game story was written with those kinds of relationships in mind. Everyone is free to like this stuff or not, or even just pretend they don't see it in the game, but it is what it is.

I also want to point out that the Incest Patch only restores the original relationships to the game. A lot doesn't make sense without that.

I cant seem to download the incest patch. The mediafire link doesn't seem to work while in LewdPatcher... any help?

Iirc the dialogue changes a bit in the actual story with incest not part of it, but the walkthrough mod alters the dialogue so it makes sense with incest as well.

Its not like other games where they're just "landlady and roommate", the game stands on its own without the incest patch, however I do think the game is done in a way where both the base game and incest patch can be considered "canon" versions on their own.
