My favorite stories are rise to power stories.
Where a nobody becomes powerful.
In most games you dont become powerful or you already start as powerful.
Billy from superpowered gets a lot of mind control slave's and never uses them outside of sex.
In strive you move up the ranks, get slave's and upgrade your mansion but it never feels like you do anything else then gather mana via sex and wait for the resourses to advance the next quest.
Pity i love the idea but it felt really shallow to me.
The Fate Of Irnia just give you a magic artificat and just trows free stuff at you.
I suspect whatever god made that item can probley use it to screw me over.
And take over has vera.
I just cant deal with the sheer stupidity of the swiching drinks trick.
Of all the ways to fail that gotta be the most lamest of them all.
Free cities and station master you already start powerful.
So does anyone know of games that focus on starting as a nobody that earns power and control?
