So.. I ran into an error. Was playing through and was on the stage where you have a clone that can follow you. Apparently stuff changes if you kill the clone or leave her alive?

Anyways found out it doesn't matter either way. You get "TypeError Cannot read property 'moveForce' of undefined" when I go to the exit of the area. I tried leaving the clone alive and unaliving her. I tried going back a few saves and trying again. It doesn't seem to change anything for me.

what i did was download the mtl version , save before fight, exit game copy save folder into the mtl then finish the fight then retransfer back, u can also use the original japanese if the mtl gives issue

the issue is present for all boss fights

Thanks XD. I only get that bug with the fourth boss (I think it's the fourth one), the boss where you have to avoid (if possible) eliminating your clone.

I hope stonefred didn't lose his motivation because the MTL that got released, but if that's what happened it is what it is

Same but quality manual TL always takes time and its a hobby so I can wait.

If this is anything like how grace was released, copying "/www/data" folder files and merging them with the MTL release, will have his TL work first then MTL once it progresses far enough...it's how he released the grace TL. You can do the same with Dazes grace chatgpt-tl, merge stones tl folder...he covered a good half of the game

But I was on dazed Discord when he was working grace and apparently he talked to stonefred and got his approval to merge the TL so I'm a bit confused

I doubt Stonefred was referring to Dazed when he had that comment but people like the guy who released that shitty Breasty MTL who shit out the first thing it does and then ghost when it comes time for the aftercare.
Though I'm not in their head so maybe it was just a "w/e Grace is off my radar now anyway so do what you like" too and he was including Dazed. I just doubt that.

Apologies for the lack of updates, I didn't want to make any premature statements.

Yeah, my interest in this has waned over the last few months. The MTL didn't have much to do with it, please don't be rude to anybody over that. If anything, I'm a little glad in retrospect, because I did find myself feeling urged to put time in under the looming threat of getting my translation sniped, which isn't the best reason.

Really, it's a combination of my interest in this game specifically and translation in general shrinking to make room for other interests, to the point where it's no longer large enough to support something this demanding. These things are constantly in flux, so that might change eventually, but that's how it is right now.

As a final thing before I hibernate, I'm working on updating the translation to 1.08 since that appears to be where the game has stabilized at. It didn't pop up in my testing since my TL and game versions match up, but I suspect that's probably the cause of the boss fight crashes people have been getting.
