If you know how to manage stress, it's really not. As I said before, the game is pretty easy once you figure out how things work. I really don't get the people who say it's hard. I guess those people play VN and don't play games with real gameplay at all.
I was thinking of making a new difficulty that makes the game harder and more punishing, but I'm not really that familiar either with the engine or the game structure. I'm afraid I might bug things, so I've never done it. The only thing I could do without any risk is increase the HP, ATK, and SPEED of wolves and other enemies, but that's not really making it difficult. Maybe when I'm on vacation, I'll put more time into this, but then again, what's the point of doing it if no one really wants it
is there a way to keep the edition over the data save? because you can edit it but then it overwrites at its previous state

You mean you edit the save and it doesn't work?
It work for me and there is no problem
not sure my advice will work but here is my rules when playing tyrano game,
1. all save is in xxx_tyrano_data
It is annoying to check which save it is and more save will make it take longer time to edit so always have only 1 save
2. always delete xxx_tyrano_auto_save
my problem is that I edit _sf.sav which includes the data of the items and other stuff, but when I run the game all my changes disappear and the _sf.sav returns to how it was before I edited it
So you're telling me that I must edit my save data in tyrano_data first?
As far as I remember
all save is in xxx_tyrano_data, it never been in xxx_sf.sav
Not sure but maybe number in it is just what display on screen? so it change back when game load real number from xxx_tyrano_data.
only occasion I touch xxx_sf.sav is when xxx_tyrano_data edit not working (so I do both)
As for xxx_auto_save.sav, I usually delete it because I found it affact edited save files (only once btw, after that I always delete it just in case)

i think becuz of the Real Mode that they get paranoid or worried making the game feels like hard. even i did felt it. I edited both, yet it doesn't work, what exactly do you edit in the _tyrano_data?
I mostly edit to reduce grind
but after your reply I try edit several more things and didn't found any problem

pffft if you played the gane already... you could already made a lot of progress or coyld have some1 to give a NG+ data with characters having decent level
