I've already identified the problem with leaving the job, but since it's something that doesn't have any impact, I'll wait for people to report more errors before releasing the fix. What do you mean by "and I cant advance my job" ?
Regarding the events, can you give some examples of where you've seen this? And a screenshot of your screen if it's possible.

To fix your new game required issue, when you add/make a new variable keep track of them. Create a "save update" button in the bedroom or somewhere else, where it goes through each one of the variables and checks to see if they are set to null or "" (you might have to check for both.) and if they are set to one or the other just set the new value to 0. Problem solved. Otherwise include a new playthrough save up until the new content.

Otherwise it's too big a chore to replay from scratch since the checks you've got in the code for checking if thresholds have been reached get broken by cheats... (or you could just create a "skip to" button that gets everything to the current state. You have some options without requiring everyone replay every single time.

I've already started developing the solution, I was trying to do something that was more generic, because my variable structure has lists and objects, so mapping this every time would be very complicated.

It's because the game doesn't check corruption points, but corruption level. The CorruptionController which changes corruption level doesn't check if you have greater than the required points to get to a new level, but exactly the required points. If you get more corruption in one scene and have more points than the check requires before the check occurs, it won't assign that level e.g if you go from 14 to 16, you won't go to level 2 Naughty. If you then get 30, you will skip straight from 1 to level 3. The game assumes you can only get 1 point of corruption before the check occurs but that isn't the case, been like this for multiple versions.

If the checks are changed to greater than or equals to rather than just straight equals to, may fix the issue. Or change it so that the corruption check occurs after each single point of corruption point gain, not on just passagedone.

I did this on purpose, in fact all the events and scenes in the game only allow you to gain a maximum of 1 corruption point, except for one, which I believe is the cause of the problem. But to avoid more problems in the future I will change it to validate in the function to add corruption points.
