Is having your max orgasms start at zero so you automatically lose any and all "sex battles" until you level up and put points into it a bug, or is it how the game's supposed to be? Because if it is just a bug, i'mma just going to come back to this one later. Would rather not have to waste multiple levels worth of points just to get back to the status quo.

As near as I can tell, it's a bug. Earlier versions gave you a max of two orgasms.
Oh I was wondering what was happening. I hadn't played before this patch so I thought it was just some mechanic I didn't understand that would make me lose sex battles extremely quickly.

Also, speaking of the battle system, I really wish you could chose if you wanted to fight someone, or sex battle them. In the previous version, you would only get to fight the enemies once/for so long before it just turns to sex battles only. especially if my lust is already elevated, maybe i just want to stave some skulls in with my haunted broom rather than fuck.
Okay the problem is can't get out of title pic after game loads I don't what I am doing wrong here to get it to work and there is no buttons to push to continue as well

You have to click on the title picture, then it would transfer you to the actual menu.

I don't know the real reason but i expect it has something to do with a combination of ease of writing, sub/bottom content being more fetishized content within the gay or furry communities since the stereotypical top/dom behaviors are pretty strongly linked with alpha types and the breeding/straight fetishes.

You can't save in certain scenes, like during a fighting or talking to someone. Looks like you can, but you actually can't. Double check that isn't it. I kept doing that and was so confused as to why my save was so far back in my run.

Not the problem. I mean that I can't save anymore when I originally could. I know when the button is supposed to be clickable.
Then I don't think it works as a game. The mechanics are incongruent with the outcomes. A shame as a lot of this is seemingly high quality but this error just pulls the player out of it because the features and mechanics themselves aren't congruent with the content being presented.
You could do battle and enthusiastic consent but the method of initiating, the lead in and the lead out of combat need to be different for it to make sense and not pull players drastically out of it. Right now it feels like it's a traditional battlefuck non-con for losing system but with skips and enthusiastic consent placed where it shouldn't be, it's just not quite right.
This isn't about taste as I can enjoy either, but it doesn't feel right.
I meet the same problem tho, at first I only can save on slot 60-63, and since today, I can't save on any of the save slot.
I can still download save file to my laptop, I just can't save it in the save slot.
