If you're referring to the one in the crypt, who used to be the guild's head maid... Phase two you need to resist her hypnosis until the game adds the Hougeton to your combat inventory, at which point you throw it at her to end the fight.
Of course, Phase 1 is beaten the same way you beat most of that style of battle, tbh. Use stat boosting equipment, consumables, and buff skills before the fight, and whenever you're grappled you start resisting immediately. Strength boosting equipment in particular is important even for mage builds, because that style of combat ONLY checks your strength for damage... Though you want to spread your boosts wide across most stats, partly to ensure you always have stats high enough to unlock defensive reactions, and partly because there's diminishing returns.
