Seems like all ai art game are heavily stealing from Samdoesart, good way to recognise em since all the face are similar to his.
What do you mean? A rough estimate, but 99,87% of all AI CG porn look the same, they all use the same algorithms and base models. Like the early DAZ games used to be the same 3 models copy pasted. It'll get better eventually.

Dude...sober up for a second and realize you're comparing tools that an artist has to use properly to make their art better and a program that literally makes the art for you.
I'm literally comparing the current situation to the advent of powered looms, and how the weavers who thought they would be out of jobs decried the quality of the resultant cloth (it was, in fact, superior to handwoven cloth). I'm comparing the entrance of synthesized sound in the music scene of the 1960s and how purists decried the artificial quality of the music. I'm comparing it to a painter using oil on canvas versus a painter using a mouse and telling a program what color and texture to apply. AI art is no different. If the coding is shitty, the result will be shitty. If the artist guiding and tweaking the prompts is inept, then the art is going to be bad. But it isn't inherently bad. And it isn't inherently not art. If Jackson Pollack can fling paint around a canvas on the floor, and critics laud his composition and use of space, then an artist can use a computer program like MS Paint or Corel or Photoshop with skill and intention. And once we made the leap to not physically laying down every pixel by hand and letting a program handle the incidental details, it's less a revolution and more an evolution to get to algorithmically-generated pictures guided and edited by an artist's intervention.

This thread appears in the search even if you filter out "no sexual content", despite it being in the tags.

Hello everyone the Developer here,

I just want to clarify something:
Yes, the art is created with the help of AI, but there is still a lot of work done by myself in addition. I completely understand that many people don't like this and this is fine (you don't need to play a free game), but I hope it is not with the argument of it "stealing art" because you are currently using a pirate website ;)
I would love to replace all my art with art from an artist (it would make a lot of things easier for myself and let me animate it too), but I don't have any money for it. So you can either have a free game like this to enjoy or no game at all.
Also creating a game solo in the freetime is no easy task while updating and improving it at an acceptable speed.

Thanks also for the positive feedback some people left and if there are questions just shoot ahead.

Happy gaming
B.
Hey there, just wanted to chime and say that I'm one of the folks who has zero issues with you using AI art. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the art you generate is consistent in style, proportions (ie: make sure the hands aren't spiders, lol), and character. These seem to be the most commonly cited reasons for people hating AI art (aside from the fact that it exists in general, and some folks can't get past that despite the fact that we live in the future and you can't stop progress).

Anyway, just wanted to say that you shouldn't let this dishearten you. There are always going to be people that will dismiss your project entirely for one reason or another. You see it in every single game thread, even the super popular games have people who adamantly hate it. You can't please everybody so don't even try, I think it's better to try and make the game that *you* want to make instead of trying to make faceless strangers on the internet happy.

I should clarify that I have not yet played your game, it's still too early in development for me, but I will definitely follow your progress. I love that we're starting to see more card battlers hit the H-game scene, there are only a handful and personally I think this is a genre that should see more attention (lately I've been playing the crap out of Slay the Spire... Tamer Vale and Last Evil both got me hooked before I even knew what StS was lol)

EDIT: Man, I take issue with the folks saying that the dev shouldn't charge for his product just because he used AI tools to generate the art. You're just entirely dismissing all of the other work that goes into the project, then? Coding, writing, development in general, troubleshooting, the feedback process and creating new versions to address bugs and incorporate new content, etc. There is so much more to a game project than simply the pretty pictures that go along with it, and I think it's incredibly insulting to entirely dismiss all of that work just because "yOu DiDn't dRaW tHaT bY hAnD"

Ignore those hooligans, dev. You do you

Hey thank your for your feedback! Yes I agree with you and don't worry, haters won't get to me that easy :)
Currently the game is basically stage 1 of StS, so I understand if you want to wait. Once I finished the core loop with the most important features, I will work on making it a bit more different from StS to be not a mere copy.
I didn't know about Tamer Vale or Last Evil. I will check them out to see what made them great and steal inspire from them as well ;P

Another voice from someone who doesn't really care if the art is generated by AI or not. As long as it is consistent and matches the game then I don't have a problem with it. I think there are many important discussions to be had about AI generated art in general, ethical applications of it, and the ramifications it has and will have on a variety of fields, but whether or not we like it, it is here to stay.

Use it well, and use it responsibly. Past that I don't give a toss. And as far as I can tell, this game handles it very well.

Rule Number 1: Thou shalt not allow AI to draw hands. AI drawn hands are the Mark of the Beast.

If you get to the house and choose healing, you get stuck on that screen. It shows 4 girls stuck in a wall, but nothing is clickable, no keys work, etc. I had to alt+f4 to kill the game. Uninstalled.

There should be a "rest" Button. You are the first one having this bug.

Not too bad, has potental. Currently it's ripping basically everything it has from Slay the Spire in terms of mechanics. But you could do worse than ripping off a good game. And it's still VERY early, so bare bones is fine. My notes in general;

While I'm baised here, liking corruption themes, but not particularly interested in MtF, a thing that struck me as odd is that the cards ALL assume the player is extremely feminized from go. Could do transitioning cards similar to TF Card Battle. Even if the cards don't change, just having a "Above half" and "Below half" art varent would be a good touch. I personally would prefer a female character who becomes more animal (or just more lusful / aroused / bimbo / whatever) over it. I'd also likely hook that to adding cards to the deck, rather than health. This also allows random events that force cards into your deck with a little narrative over the why's. Behind the curtin, you just have a math counter looking at the different sets (Starter / Slime / Beast / Etc), progressing or regressing those elements as more of that set are added (this also allows HP to be 'lust' or 'desire' as is typical, so you could have shifted images that are increasingly lustful or stripped down, though that's a fair deal more assets).

Gameplay loop is very simple, but again, not shocking this early in a project. While it's neat, I'm not sure being able to rearrange your hand does much but make it harder to play, and the lack of a target arrow makes making attacks kinda poor in a UEx. Similarly the map not scrolling as you progress is actually an issue that's really annoying and should be high on a fix list. A little bestiary with a name and a card pool for each monster would also go a long way to giving the player some agency.
