On the off chance that there is someone like me seeking out the old 1.6h build of the game to use the latest unofficial Prime Mod, I'd give up on that search. That being said, the 1.61 build seems to accept the mod just fine. At least, it hasn't produced an error page just for me at the moment.

Edit: Scratch that. It crashed. On the flipside, I just realized I have a cloud backup subscription that goes back some years, so I've had 1.6h this entire time.

First time I've ever seen a subscription someone forgot about working out instead of just, "Oh fuck. I've been paying 30 bucks every month for the last 5 years for this shit I completely forgot about!"

I imagine that's how a lot of Patreon subscribers feel sometimes.

Unless someone else wants to pick it up. Prime occasionally comes on these forums but, last I heard, there he has no motivation (honestly, justifiably so) to continue the mod.

x is lagging like crazy though once you start changing colors the game becomes unplayable for me

Are you using 1.6h or 1.64d? The download in the OP of the x-mod thread was laggy as hell, but the updated one from the quote below had better performance for me.

Here's the Pre-Patched version, based on the Ren'Py 8.4.1 version of the Rogue-Like-r8-1.64a-1-mod, patched with git using the 1.64a-1.64b > 1.64b-1.64c > 1.64c-1.64d patches (in that order) so it's now up-to-date. It's been tested and works fine. The .RPA files have not been remade because I was having issues repacking them so the images and RPY/RPYC files remain unpacked.

Mine plays just fine. No lag at all. I've had some issues with colors, but only in that they sometimes reset. Besides that, smooth as butter.

idk I have 32gb of ddr5 6000mhz ram a pretty decent cpu and a good gpu and the game is borderline unplayable so idk
