I'd really appreciate if we got more content on the release of a new girl. I know it takes a lot of work and effort on behalf of the dev to get this up and running, but unlocking a new girl, her only giving out handjobs, and then waiting upwards to 6 months for any content on the girl is actually unbearable. I've been following this game since the old 8chan threads, and it just feels like this is the cycle of releases.

When Kitty was first introduced, all we could do was meet her for the first time and then she ran off till the next update.
When we first met Laura it was in the Danger room just before she left for a mission. That was it for her.
Actually getting hand job with Betsy was pretty much for Oni and he has been coming out with bug fixes pretty quickly. The game may run fine on his computer But everyone else's is different.

The problem with Oni is, and it pains me to say this, is that Oni just isn't a very good artist to begin with.
I just browsed through his pin-up catalog on rule34 for the first time and was not impressed. It's obvious that he takes real-life images of porn then just traces over them to get the poses he wants, ala Eva Kiss. While doing this technique is a fool-proof way to get your anatomy "right" it is ultimately a crutch that won't teach the artist in the long term if you just use it as training wheels. It's a bit lazy, honestly. Oni's been in the Erotic Art business a long, long time (at least since 2007 so certainly before that) but his quality of images hasn't progressed all that much. Comics and cartoons are all about knowing when to exaggerate for effect. If you copy poses from a photograph, it shows, and tends to take the viewer out of the experience. Also, much like Eva Kiss, Oni doesn't make good choices for light, color, and shadow. His color renderings and backgrounds have all the dynamism of an episode of Peppa Pig.
Not to just take a huge steamy dump on Oni, I'll give him credit where credit is due. His models and poses for Rogue, Kitty, and Laura are excellent, and some of the greatest examples of his work. Oni can produce outstanding erotic art if he puts his mind to it. No one can take away the original girls from Oni, and without them, Rouge Like wouldn't be the success story that it is. Another thing that Oni has going for him is his writing. His dialog trees are pretty damn funny.

Really starting to think the real reason this so popular despite a lot of us feeling like it isn't that good is that there isn't really another stat driven sandbox sex game that quite scratches the same itch.

i'm really missing these sluttification games,even better that they have well known characters,even thought about trying akabur games again but then i remembered the insane grind those games have
I'm seeing so many people complaining like this about the update from a singular person developing an indie game by himself, so far I have seen the update I like it, it's alright, the bugs are a problem but Oni as far as I have seen works fast to fix them. Now not everything that Oni does is great I do feel like they should make some more updates to the past charecters. And when he makes a promise that they are going to drop a big update they should complete it. I do believe that by next month only should be dropping the next half of the content 2 months at worst.

Have you tried Superpowered? I think it is the most system driven porn game with the widest range of options, especially on the abuse of power side. It is not perfect, and it can be grindy if you start to hunt all the variations in all the characters, but I haven't found a better and more thoughtful progression system in a game of this type so far.
I only played News Desk and quite recently Soldiers Life (but have others on my list to play as well) and I found both fantastic. I fall on the side of weird people that like actual gameplay in their porn game. And I found both games relatively short and to the point. Both card game system (News Desk) and Sorties with random encounters and battles (Soldiers Life) had enough depth to be at least engaging enough to create a decent gameplay loop. Grind I can't stand is one I found in sandbox games, where loop is defined by passing days and weeks, and at one point you discover, that you can progress only in one day of the weak (only in specific hour of the day of course!)
Based and Agreeable, only thing I will say is Oni needs to work on her face that's all really.
Does anyone else get an error when Betsy tries to suck you off in the morning? Also, the sex stuff is not implemented - is this based on the new release, or what?

Its not the same, one thing RLE has over most of the games in general is freedom.
You wanna fuck Storm up the ass while Jubilee watches? well go anddo it, it isnt an event, it isnt a PNG with text, it isnt an cutscene, its just a matter of you getting enough stats with both characters to go an do it, and you get to choose the pose, clothes, hair, noother game gives you that kind of freedom.
