I really hope she has a very thick Russian dialect with her text, like forgetting nouns and making obscure Russian metaphors. Kinda like Storm, but to a greater extent. Would really sell the character properly

That's a fine line to tread with modern Oni, the way he wrote Betsy's dialogue is so annoying that I had to completely rewrite most of her lines for my own enjoyment mental sanity, her British slang is way over the top that it almost reads like an American teenager making fun of British people. We should consider ourselves lucky If he writes Magik as a "regular" midwestern girl but I do secretly hope he does her justice and doesn't go too overboard with the Russian stuff.

I hadn't played this game in a few years, and when I downloaded the latest version, it ran terribly. It used to be much faster and CPU demanding, but now every time the background changes or I click on an option, it basically pauses for a moment. I thought my HDD might be causing the issue, so I moved to my M.2, but it's still the same. I even tried the "Stable" version, which was better, but not like it used to be.

I played games that use HD videos every second and have a lot of background changes on HDD with much better performance. I even use URM, and it's far better in CPU usage than this.

how many backgrounds does this game have 10~15? how many characters maybe 10 on stable version each 70~90 pictures? I'm not talking about the moving body parts on scene just the normal changing location, that should not be this slow, it lags even there's no one at the location you are headed.

I like this game, and I want to play but...
If you know a way to make this game faster, please share.
