I loved reading Batman comics as a kid. But I was never interested in reading about Batgirl because I felt the character was derivative of the original. Same powers. Same enemies. Same supporting characters.
A lot of the characters that Marvel is pumping out now are just younger or more "diverse" versions of older IP's.
If the Powers-That-Be has faith that a "new" superhero is a great idea:
>give them their own unique superpowers
>give them their own rogue's gallery of villains
>give them their own supporting cast of characters
>give them their own identity. One that doesn't tarnish (or simply steal from) an established IP so that the "ALL NEW" character is the clear choice
>don't make them a Mary Sue character. Allow them to fail. Struggle. Change. Learn. Grow.
And if the Powers-That-Be feel that this is too risky -- then you have bad writers, because a great writer can make Squirrel Girl entertaining!

I just came to say that i've been playing this game since they first added emma, through all these versions i've never really had an interest in laura. Today for the first time i chose the titjob from laura, it is by far the best thing in the game. Holy shit.

Id argue that kitty's licking boobjob is the best variant of a boobjob in the game thus far, but laura is surely a close second.
Haven't played the game in ages. Storm is the best thing to happen to it. I wish Oni would focus on fleshing out more costumes, interactions, dialogue, sex positions, rather than adding new characters, but he knows where the money is.

I started over fresh, have met all the girls, levelled them all up and my character, I have xaviers photo and files but any time I get caught I am not getting the options to control/blackmail him

I believe you have to have the girl be level 5 to active their plan get him of your back for when you have sex with them in public.
No, different girls have varying requirements, but MC must be level 4 to have a chance.
Idk why they would think that Into the Spider-verse was a hit and that had like 4 different Peter Parkers and the Playstation games have Miles and he was great in those as well (but technically we havent had a game yet with them both as Spider-man since Peter left in the Miles Morales game)

hmmm, thanks but in that case I dont know what I am missing, mc is level 4 and storm is level 4 but all the others are either level 5 or 6 and are long past the stage of the whole asking to be assertive and then call you "master" steps but still not getting the options to use the files/photos or powers

It isnt really needed, you just grind points with each girl and get it on, theres the whole thing with xavier but it isnt really needed.
Spiderman miles morales sold significantly worse than they other spiderman game. Because no one likes Miles even after a decade of forcing him down people's throats. They already had better spidermen with peter, spoc, ben, Miguel, ect ect

Spiderman 2099 is the shit and the fact he got tossed by the wayside being one of the extreme 90's designs that doesn't look like ass and in general being a cool dude is both laughable and sad.
