I don't understand why you compare drawn characters to real people. You can draw a girl with thick thighs, a big butt/tits, add a belly and she will look x10 times better than a real person with the same body proportions.

Well, if reasoned opinions non judgementaly exposed now qualify as shaming, I think the professional offended (from social networks and the like) have reached their goal: to make it impossible to debate.

I agree body-types qualifiers don't come with an accurate measuring tool. So instead of proposing some BMI BS (if I recall, people discussed this very topic some pages ago), I showed an obviously, unquestionably and medically overweighted real woman to illustrate what I was saying about overweight. Precisely because, by definition, reality is what words are based on.
In contrast, art only tries to reproduce reality (at most) and many artists deliberatly choose not to, ignoring body proportions, etc. So it would have been pointless to post, let's say, Shiin's work when discussing human body...

Oni, on the other hand, used to drawn in semi-realistic style in this game, in accordance with the original series - I use past-tense because Gwen is completely out of style when compared to the rest of the cast.
So his characters are supposed to be at least plausible - and here lies my problem with the Squirrel...

Exactly. She looks like some Frankenstein's creature: the parts don't match. Few real women would combine such thickness in some areas and such fitness in others. As I said above, such blatant disrespect for human anatomy and physiology wouldn't bother me in art where this is standard (like all the expansion fetish comix) but it isn't supposed to be the case in R-L: E. That, plus her overall uglyness (that... face... ), lead me to classify her among the eldritch abominations.

I don't think the squirrel girl in the game is exactly "fat." She is clearly bustier than Kitty, but I wouldn't say "fat". However, let's agree that her main problem is not her body but her face. I hope that at this moment the Oni is redesigning her face, because it reaches a scary level because it is so bizarre.

And instead I will do what a few people claim to do and then don't really do then end up making their own game; I will remake/rewrite Rogue-like. Will this be done quickly? Maybe. Lets be real here. The proposed Squirrell Girl by Oni is entirely fucking trash and is a abomination. Like really, does he want fans to be force into liking a character thats by no means is even close in terms of design to Original/Modern adaptation? Not just the face is off but the body as well. Like I'm all well and fine with a girl who has some curves, but in terms of characters, for me they have to be resemble the version they are closest to representing. Rogue and Kitty and prime examples. Laura, sure we get the 'grown up' version of her, which is best. Emma's is fine. Jubes is perfect. Jean, while sure the whole personality is way off because Oni is a cunt who hates Jean for some bullshit reason, she's pretty spot on in looks.

All in all... Oni best go back to the drawing board, literally, if he really thinks patrons and supports want that version of SG.

The doreen drama to me seems pretty pointless. I hope Oni redraws the face because when you compare her to the others she suffers not from uglyness, but from a bad desing lmao, my man needs to lock in and draw her again but cute. i didnt mean to call you a liar, i just think it a lot of work for one person, especially if youre not gonna make money out of it. i actually want to learn how to code so i can make a game like RLE, i mean a game focused on the interactions during sex or at least a demo. Ive played a lot of porn games and what i love the most is the freedom to do what ever i want with the girl during sex and make her come until i she breaks.

So far im a QA and im learning UE and UI. So after that i would learn how to code. I was thinking phyton was the best place to star but im in no place to do even a demo by my own. From my personal experience when i cannot do something the best thing i can do is find other people with similar ideas and work as a team. I thought about joining the expanded mod team as they are looking for a ue designer to gain some experience.

im no expert but as a QA and a UE/UI designer i hate how their face expresion dont keep up with how many times they have come, how they say they cant keep up and want to rest but if you stop and they have more than 70% pleasure they say they can keep going for one or two rounds, how the poses reset when you change the primary action, how each menu is different for some girls or type of actions, how you cant change from one type of actions to another type with out going to the sex menu most of the time,

It just break the immersion for me. ive spent a lot of time playing RLE and i think i can make the experience much more fluid but i have no idea how to code it hahahaha. I dream of the day oni is gonna fix it but as that is not gonna happen i just thought it would be easier for me to learn how to do it. I like the idea of the expanded mod team to build a trainer system so other people can adapt it to their stories, and make other games, like some sort of trainer engine.

If you are looking for people to help you i would be honored to work with you. I already shared some of my ideas with you, i hope you remember me. I have virtually no experience but i want to make a living out of this at some point in the not so far future as it is my passion and i dont want to keep working as a salesman all my life.
