Poor Doreen. Guess that means we're probably getting Gwen? Wonder if Oni will end the poll early considering the lead she has.
I'll be honest, while I do like the idea of Gwenpool being added, and in fact she is my favorite of all candidates (followed surprisingly by Lorna after reading about her on a wiki), I do not think she should win.
Because Oni clearly wants to add her.
As mentioned, he already put her on a scene, and is clearly insistent.
Plus how she made Jean a completely different character. While I do like this take on her, and I am aware he never liked her much, you can't say it is not just to spite everyone for not letting Gwen win - he literally made the pool restart with only the two.
So, I want other girls to be added through the pools. If he wants her so much, he can add her on his own accord instead.
(which is... ironic, considering her name)

Gwenpool IS a mutant now, guys.
Seems like her powers retconned her in fear of being canceled, and now she is a mutant with her memories of being a dimension traveler coming from a small mental breakdown when her powers first activated.
As a consequence though, seems she lost the ability of take advantage of being in a comic book, keeping just the awareness of it.
She was even able to use a portal to Krakoa, which supposedly only allows mutants (save for Kitty, it seems, because her powers confused the portal so it wouldn't let her?)
But that's just a guess.

Well, she did become a character on her own because the fans already liked her just because of the variant cover, not because they decided they liked the idea themselves, so they probably wanted to ride on the initial fame. Thus why the name Gwenpool and keeping the appearence so similar.

I feel like if Wanda winds up winning instead of Gwen, Oni is going to half-ass her out of spite. Especially with the poll being this close. At least if Gwen is added, he can work on a character he actually likes for a change. No idea why he's leaving it up to a poll though.

The truth is that if he wanted her so bad, he could add her slowly over the updates while working on other things, but since hes oni, hes just gonna do a single thing at a time.
Lets see if finally getting gwen means he will work harder on the game.

Seriously though. I think this is the only game where I can get my headpat fix. Once I can headpat Gwen it's gonna be my go-to for a long time.

blah blah illusion of choice, blah blah democratical process. Honestly Oni putting it to just over three weeks for the polls was a lil' much but apparently votes fly in in the last week. It was just nearly 2k votes in the first THREE days now stuff is kinda just trickling in. I woulda called it after 14-16 days honestly so Oni could get to work I hope he hasn't been sitting on his ass apparently next build he'll be editing art & whatnot (A programmer might have convinced Oni to allow said programmer to help finally however it was over said guy stating he'd be completely free"

At this point I'm fine with either Gwen or Wanda, though all I know about Wanda is her MCU adaptation. Should probably get around to reading some comics with her in them. Not that it matters, cuz Oni will probably screw her over anyway if she beats his waifu in the poll, but it's a decent excuse to read some new stuff.

Don't bother with the mainline they did her quite wrong. Just watch the Evo cartoon it pretty much surmises everything you need to know in one easy show. I mean i ended up watching the Evo cartoon again a few years back due to this game, I'm not gonna give my opinion on it since it was pretty nostalgic for me to rewatch (nostalgia is a worthless thing) however it wasn't terrible. We had Wolverine being a dad to everyone, it was mostly about the group some episodes were fun others were eh.
