Oni, the dev, used to try (emphasis on "try") to make an update every 3 months. But it seems 2023 hit him hard and he stopped even trying to stick to any schedule, so as others told you, big updates has and probably will come twice a year.

You don't know any other games like this? I mean 2d, open "world", quality graphics and some pretty girls followers and scenes, sandbox? Also fantasy, sci-fi preferred. I miss this genre, even though the concept is simple.

Most of the other games I know of are not as "open" you always need to progress the story to unlock stuff. I guess that's why we keep coming back to RLE despite the descending quality
