I can't unlock Wanda without having that horrifying hambeast forced on me? Typical. No wonder Wanda never showed up for me. The second that...THING appeared, I turned and ran away. No Wanda for me then. Very disappointing.

You only have to see her once in Betsy's intro. You never have to go into the attic when Storm asks you to. Wanda will still show up. That's how I played it. Just left Gollum in her cave.
