It may be my imagination (or maybe I'm just late to the party), but I just noticed that Jean's firebush bears a slight resemblance to the Phoenix-effect fire bird.
Nice touch, if intentional.

It is intentional and it's pretty funny if you think about it. That said it's related to the Dark Phoenix which I know absolutely nothing about besides it's a cosmic entity/force of sorts that loves to take over the minds/bodies of psychics which makes them crazy/evil I guess?

That's pretty much the short version. It's Psychic Space Hitler. And while considered one of the best late 70s/early 80s storylines, led to a decade of massive WTF stories involving multiple clones, timelines, and clone-Jean fucking Scott and making Cable in the future who was raised by his younger half sister because comics.

This is just hearsay from other commenters but apparently Oni really hates Jean Grey, so being forced to develop content for her (based on the results of a patron poll Oni himself created), may be impacting how much development time content he is willing to devote to her. It may also explain why her character model is less show-accurate than Rogue's or Kitty's.

Again though, this is just word-of-mouth rumor. If Oni tells me I'm talking out of my ass when it comes to Jean Grey than I'll apologize and make a retraction.

That's the way to approach her imo. Break her into submission and let Stockholm handle the rest. Her starting interactions (ie. compliment, touch hand, grab boob, etc.) have 0 net Love points (for me at least). When you gain 1 or 2 you lose 1 or 2 but obedience stays plus-ed. Also the scenes when seeing her breasts, pussy, and her seeing your dick give huge points to obedience and inhibition but love for some reason is subtracted.
